Calista Luxury Resort

We have just had the most wonderful family stay at Calista Luxury Resort and it genuinely exceeded our expectations.

We were celebrating my birthday as well as our daughter starting primary school, and from the moment we arrived the team made us feel incredibly special. We were welcomed with a lovely cake, chocolates and champagne. Although I don’t drink alcohol, the champagne was still a very thoughtful gesture and everything was so beautifully presented. We were also incredibly grateful to receive a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful Duplex Suite with wonderful pool and sea views, which was such an amazing surprise. What impressed us most throughout our holiday was the exceptional level of service and genuine warmth of the staff. The attentiveness and care we received was honestly 10/10 and beyond. Everywhere we went, we were met with friendly, welcoming staff who seemed genuinely happy to help.

The Kids Club was a huge highlight for us. Our daughter Amanah absolutely loved it and the team were fantastic with her. She made lots of friends with other children staying at the resort and also formed such lovely relationships with members of the Calista team. Seeing how happy, comfortable and welcomed she felt made the holiday even more special for us as parents. The food and drink offering was excellent, with so much variety and choice. We particularly loved that wherever we seemed to be in the resort, there was always somewhere to enjoy good food, coffee, drinks or snacks. Everything felt very generous and effortless. Housekeeping and the cleanliness of the resort were also excellent throughout our stay. The wonderful service continued right until our final day. Our flight wasn’t until 23:10, so we enquired about a late checkout and fully expected that there may be an additional charge. Büşra from Guest Relations was incredibly helpful and kindly arranged a complimentary late checkout until 16:00 for us. Travelling with a young child and having such a late flight, this made an enormous difference to our final day and allowed us to relax and enjoy the resort without feeling rushed. We were genuinely so grateful. Calista itself is a beautiful resort with fantastic facilities, but for us, it is the people, hospitality and attention to detail that truly set it apart. We felt genuinely cared for rather than simply being guests staying at a hotel, and there were so many thoughtful touches throughout our holiday. A very special thank you to Büşra in Guest Relations for her kindness and attentiveness, and to all the wonderful members of the Calista team who made our daughter feel so welcome and our whole family so well looked after.

We are genuinely sad to be leaving, but one thing is certain — we will definitely be returning to Calista. Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable family holiday and for giving us such special memories. ❤️

Everything was good overall, but the man working at reception was not very friendly and spoke to us impolitely.

This was our third year in a row at Calista, so obviously there are many things we really like about this hotel and that keep us coming back.

The hotel is very well maintained and extremely clean. Yes, some areas and rooms may feel a little outdated compared to some of the newer hotels in Belek, but everything is in very good condition. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and perfectly maintained, probably one of the things I like most about Calista. Our room was spotless every day and housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay.

The entertainment is also a big plus. There is always something going on in the evening and we really enjoyed the shows and the atmosphere. It feels lively without being too much during the day, which for us is a very good balance.

Breakfast was very good, with plenty of options. Lunch and dinner at the main restaurant, however, were a little disappointing compared to our previous two stays. We felt there was less variety and quite a lot of repetition from one day to another. The barbecue was actually some of the best food at dinner, but there were often long queues and standing in the smoke waiting for your food was not very pleasant. The themed evenings were a nice change though and we particularly enjoyed the Mediterranean evening.

There is one à la carte restaurant included in the all-inclusive concept, while the other à la carte restaurants are extra. I think including one dinner per stay at one of these restaurants would be a really nice touch and would add some welcome variety, especially for guests staying for a week or more.

The staff were always nice and helpful. A special mention to Valentina, who was lovely and very friendly with us. We also really appreciated that they offered us a complimentary late check-out on our departure day, as we had an afternoon transfer and were travelling with our small child. It was a small gesture that made our last day much easier.

Overall, we had another lovely holiday at Calista. We still have a soft spot for Calista after three years and hopefully we will see some of that variety back next time.
