Located in the heart of Dubai City is Dubai Creek. The creek splits Dubai into two main regions, Bur Dubai and Deira. Deira on the eastern bank of Dubai Creek is home to many of the sites of which Dubai is famous for, including the Spice Souk, Dubai clock tower and the world famous Dubai Gold Souk. On the western edge of the Creek is the area of Bur Dubai, an area popular for its shopping malls and other famous buildings including the tallest building in the world; the Burj Khalifa, located in downtown.
