Depart London on your scheduled flight to Copenhagen, where you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel.
Your comprehensive morning tour begins at the centre of City Hall Square overseen by the eye-catching statue of Danish statesman, Absalon. During your coach tour, pass the 19th century Tivoli Gardens amusement park before paying a visit to the grand Christiansborg Palace. Later take a stroll through the iconic Nyhavn canal, a bustling hub of moored boats, outdoor cafes and colourful pastel townhouses that line the waterfront. Make a photo stop at the Little Mermaid statue that sits upon a rock beside the Langelinie promenade before arriving at the Amalienborg Palace, home to the Danish royal family. After a late lunch, embark on a fascinating boat tour of Copenhagen's canals.
Today is at leisure for you to further explore this colourful city, or you can choose an optional excursion where you will enjoy a scenic drive through the picturesque North Zealand countryside for a visit to the moated Frederiksborg Castle, a splendid Renaissance capsule of lavish tapestries, gilded ceilings and an opulent chapel used for royal weddings.
Scandinavia has a world renowned talent for design and their trains are no exception to this. Glide along in comfort as you gaze out of your window at serene fjords, grand snow-capped mountains and verdant landscapes. On arrival into the Swedish capital of Stockholm, you will be transferred to your hotel.
One of Europe's most beautiful cities, Stockholm plays host to broad boulevards, charming park spaces and painted houseboats which reside along the cobbled waterfront. As you stroll through the elegant old town on your morning tour, pass Storkyrkan, the city's oldest building whose extravagant Gothic interior sets the stage for Sweden's royal weddings. Your tour concludes within the City Hall renowned for its grand ceremonial chambers and exquisite pieces of art.
This morning, catch your flight for the Norwegian capital of Oslo. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel and the rest of the day is for you to enjoy at your own pace.
After breakfast, enjoy splendid views from the Opera House across the fjord. Later continue to Bygdoy Island for a tour of the Viking Ship Museum, which displays two of the world's best-preserved Viking vessels. Your tour concludes within the city centre where the remainder of today will be at leisure.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport in Oslo for your return flight back to the UK.

Your flight to Copenhagen Airport is with Norwegian Air Shuttle (D8), departing from London Gatwick, South Terminal. Each passenger is entitled to 20kg of hold luggage plus 1 item of hand luggage not exceeding in size and 1 personal item such as a handbag, briefcase or laptop case. Weight restrictions will be finalised on E-ticket receipt. Should you wish to take additional luggage you will need to pay extra at check-in. Check-In should be at least 3 hours before departure. Please note that all flight times are subject to change. Final flight details will be confirmed on your e-ticket and final documentation which will be sent to you approximately 10 days before departure. This tour is accessible to most people with an average level of fitness and normal mobility. It involves moderate days of walking on uneven paths and small hills, and getting on and off coaches. This tour is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.
The minimum number of passengers on your tour will be 20, and the maximum number of passengers will be 35. If in the unlikely event your tour does not reach the minimum passenger numbers then you may be asked to change to a different date. This is an escorted tour, meaning the you will have the services of an English speaking guide during each excursion ensuring that you have first-hand knowledge at all times.
The currency in Denmark is the Danish Krone (DKK), the currency in Sweden is the Swedish Krone (SEK) and the currency in Norway is the Norwegian Krone (NOK). We recommend that you exchange your currency before you leave the UK, however cash machines are available in all the major cities to withdraw money in the local currency.
You will need to take some extra money with you to cover any dinners where these are not mentioned on your itinerary and personal purchases, such as souvenirs, extra drinks and snacks. Approximately £350-450 per person should be sufficient for the duration of your tour. Please also bear in mind that there will be several shopping opportunities throughout your tour. Tipping is customary, we would recommend approximately £2-3 per person per day. Tips are accepted in the local currency, however it is asked that if you do not tip in the local currency that you only pay with notes, as coins cannot be exchanged. As normal practice you may be asked for your credit card details on check-in at the hotel in order to cover any extras incurred during your stay. If you do not have a credit card you may be asked for a cash deposit. American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and Visa are widely accepted in hotels.
