Canico de Baixo is one of the most picturesque sights in Madeira - and if you've already spent any time there, you'll know that's quite a claim. But the beautiful bay and the nearby marine nature reserve both point to this being as unspoilt as it gets.
The Royal Orchid Hotel then is in the perfect place - and its four star facilities will give you a holiday to remember. From your light, bright studio apartment you'll have a superb view of the sea - and your balcony means you can get as many long, lingering looks as you want. You'll also enjoy the well-equipped kitchenette and bathroom. Additional facilities include a satellite TV, telephone, and hairdryer. Safe deposit boxes are also available.
You could happily spend a whole week or two at the Royal Orchid Hotel; with its wonderful health club - just wait till you see the indoor pool - its sauna and steam bath, as well as its games room, its bar and buffet restaurant. And if you do want to head further afield, just hop on the hotel shuttle bus and enjoy the ride into Funchal.
