This is our favourite holiday destination. The cornucopia hotel is like an old pair of shoes, a bit rough around the edges but really relaxing and comfortable. The staff make the hotel. Can't do enough for you. Will return as soon as possible. Things that I'd like:- option to have British TV in the bedroom.

The Cornucopia is truly an excellent hotel. We arranged a Valley View room directly with the hotel. It was well worth the supplemental charge. I would recommend that Mercury offer this option in the brochure.

Excellent small family run hotel, with 3 pools.
Food was very good and catered well for vegetarians ( just let them know when booking holiday)
They have a BBQ twice a week 25euros each (unless you book half board, then it's included in the holiday booking)

A solar powered heated pool would have been nice for out of season visitors.

We've stayed here before & love it. The staff & everything about it is top rate. Perhaps some more info on places to go should be available although we hired a car & just poodled around so found some lovely places ourselves.

A most beautiful and unique restored farm house full of character giving it a feeling of olde world charm.
The staff were friendly and always addressed any problems immediately for example the weather for the was appalling, extremely cold, biting winds, torrential rain at times, thunder and lightening and hail stones! On request we were given a radiator for our room and extra duvet - made a massive difference! Daily cleaning of room and hotel was to a very high standard, food and service was excellent.

Lovely old hotel, just as good as on previous visits

Overall satisfaction is excellent, I think it was excellent value for money. The buffet style provided sufficient choice to satisfy both our tastes and quality was excellent.

All in all a good holiday with good weather can't wait to return.

This Hotel should be 5* nothing is a trouble to them. Food/service/everything is amazing. It's a beautiful hotel with excellent swimming pools.The location is so peaceful and relaxing, you really feel you have had a wonderful holiday..and we certainly did. Thank you to all at Cornucopia. We will return. Mercury have always given good service and excellent prices.and always recommend Mercury Holidays.

All the staff at the hotel were very helpful, it was a lovely relaxing stay and I may consider another trip in the future .

Second visit to hotel. Brian the Manager and his friendly and efficient staff work tirelessly to ensure everyone has a great time. Accommodation, food and ambience all very good. Hope to return again in future.

Very good hotel, staff very hard working. Especially Brian hotel manger. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Could do with a upgrade here and there,especially the air conditioning. But apart from that every thing else is spot on.

Some reception staff were helpful others were not. I tried to order a cup of tea on arrival and was told there were no staff and to go into the village to get one. It was also difficult to find staff to serve a drink at the bar sometimes.
Breakfast food selection was poor. No yoghurt or fresh fruit.

atmosphere and the helpful staff suited me very well!

We were very pleased with this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We upgraded to a Junior Suite which was well worth the extra as it made our holiday that bit more special. The Hotel was very quite but we expected that given the time of year. the Carvery night was very good with lovely food and entertainment.

The transfers were excellent. George the rep was so helpful and arranged an upgrade to room with a view - fantastic for 3 nights. I booked by phone with a very friendly and helpful lady.

Satisfactory service all round

There was confusion on arrival at Malta Airport. Our names didn't appear on anyone's list for onward travel to Gozo. Eventually resolved by rep, but there had been an administrative breakdown between Mercury and transport company. On arrival at Gozo ferry port, we were met and transferred to hotel.
No contact from rep once in Gozo so had no info regarding tours/excursions. Reception staff contacted the rep with regards to details of return journey. Rep knew nothing of our existence until journey home but he was very apologetic and obliging. It was not his fault.
The hotel staff, in particular, the manager Brian were extremely pleasant and helpful at all times. We hired bikes via the hotel and found the bike company very amenable too with instant help when stranded with a puncture.

Was pleased that all transfers worked well with minimum waiting.
