Relaxing stay for our Anniversary
We went as a young couple ( 27 & 28) from Ireland at the end of September to celebrate our anniversary. Temperatures were around 33-35° each day with a good breeze that made the heat easy to cope with. We paid €84 extra to be upgraded to a premium deluxe twin, slightly unfortunate with the twin bed considering it was our anniversary but we made it work. The room was updated and clean, we received large bottles of water each day. Do not drink the tap water or use it to brush your teeth! Use bottled water. Our location was lovely, along the Red Sea and the atmosphere was relaxing and beautiful.
We stayed at the Relax Pool for our entire stay and were served by Ahmed Moustaffa who was by far the best bartender. He came round in the early morning with bottles of water and cappuccinos, then once he knew our order would already have it ready for us. He was so friendly and was always asking did we want or need anything while sunbathing. Absolutely brilliant customer service from Ahmed!
The noise level was quiet mostly, especially at the relax pool, this was for 13 years old and up so it was majority people in their 40s+. We could hear other hotels music from across the way. But this didn’t bother us. My partner enjoyed the activities provided by the entertainment team, he took part in the Flying Yoga, Aqua Gym, and Archery (with an extra charge of $5)
What we did notice is as an English speaking couple from Ireland, we were the only ones. Every other family here is German, Russian or Dutch. It didn’t bother us too much, as we were treated the same by the staff. If you want a bit of craic at the pool, you might need another language.
The food - this was a normal all inclusive buffet which a good selection. Like any abroad buffet it won’t taste the same as home as it’s cooked differently. The à la carte restaurant Villa Mare was lovely, however our lasagna was definitely microwaved as it came out 2 minutes after ordering.
A few tips!
- Get the red flag from the lifeguard for your sunbed, you will be pestered by sales people (if you’re at the relax pool - stay on the islands as they don’t come over the bridges)
- if you need anything from a pharmacy use Self - Care pharmacy which delivers to the hotel at the cheapest price (stay away from the hotel shops as they mark the price up x4)
- Learn your bar staff names, Ahmed took care of us the whole holiday and we appreciate him the most, give this man a promotion! 🫶🏻

10/10 amazing experience
We had such an amazing stay at Cleopatra Luxury Resort! Everything was honestly 10/10, from the beautiful surroundings to the wonderful service.
All of the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable, and the views around the resort were absolutely stunning.
There were so many pools to choose from, which was perfect because there was something for everyone. The resort is also very family-friendly, with a really fun and lively atmosphere without ever feeling overwhelming.
The food had a great variety, with plenty of options to choose from throughout our stay, and the service was excellent. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.
Overall, we had such a fun and relaxing holiday and would definitely recommend Cleopatra Luxury Resort to families, couples and anyone looking for a beautiful resort with great facilities, friendly people and fantastic service. We would happily come back again!
Romantic couple holidays
Me and my girlfriend came for a week for her birthday we had a lovely relaxing holiday making special memories we enjoyed every day here the staff are all very friendly and hard working Muhammad are cleaner did a fantastic job at making my girlfriends birthday extra special lucky I spoke to the front desk about making her birthday extra special or they wouldn't have done even though there were numerous emails overall they staying was fantastic Mohammed at the lobby bar makes a fantastic Tequila sunrise . Ibrahim in the soko restaurant is really friendly and always smiling. The gardeners work really hard to keep everything looking beautiful . All the life guards were very friendly and always said good morning so did the security's. We felt very safe on the grounds. We did a submarine tour which was unbelievable amd amazing . Tito in the spa was so friendly we had the vip treatment which was 200 euros each but well worth the money from the sauna , steam room , jacuzzi then a full body scrub and massage was truly relaxing . The ocean was lovely and clear no rubbish and was nice to see the animals and coral .

Fantastic spotless hotel with amazing staff
Just back from a fantastic trip to this hotel. The hotel grounds, rooms etc are spotless and the staff in all areas from the restaurants, pool life guards, housekeeping and gardeners are a credit to the hotel. They work extremely hard and gave amazing service. The choice and variety of food was amazing. Would not hesitate to return to this hotel. The staff really do go above and beyond.

Ideal Relaxing Holiday for Couples
The Cleopatra is a lovely all inclusive resort situated around a 30-45 minute drive from Hurghada Airport. The resort itself is large, clean, and well maintained with a number of pools and its own beach. The pools each offer a different atmosphere depending on your mood; there is a relaxing pool where you may enjoy a quieter day, a heated pool which offers music, and then the main two pools which offer an obstacle course, the pool bar, and an array of entertainment from the entertainment team. The beach was quite rocky and we would recommend bringing rock shoes, however swimming in it is so worth it with all the fish! We didn’t even have to go off the end of the jetty to see a pufferfish. When we initially arrived we were given a twin room, however the minute we asked for this to be changed to a double, reception promptly helped us with our cases to a new room. We booked a standard room however the room was large and spacious with a full walk in shower and a balcony large enough to host family yoga. Our room was cleaned daily by Atef who was wonderful; he greeted us every time he saw us and often lay rose petals and flowers across our newly made bed. Between Atef and A Hakim, nothing was too much and they always ensured we were happy and enjoying our stay. During our stay we booked a couple of excursions with Oscar; we chose quad biking in the desert and a snorkelling trip on a glass bottom boat. Oscar was very helpful with arranging our trips and he offered all of the information we could have possibly needed. We also had a photoshoot with Gerhard from the Magic Life Photo Team. Gerhard arranged everything for us and his colleague Mohammed took us for the shoot in a variety of locations with outfit changes. Gerhard went through the pictures with us the next day and helped us create an amazing package of memories for a reasonable price. We booked a trip to Luxor through GetYourGuide and the hotel ensured everything was secure and even gave us a large packed lunch each to take with us. Nothing was too much to ask for, and even when we felt ill, the pharmacy staff were very helpful and gave us advice and medication to get us back to enjoying our holiday. Throughout our stay the entertainment team offered multiple shows, karaoke nights, beach parties, foam parties, etc. We enjoyed all of these and loved their focus on healthy activities and keeping people active through their stay. The team offer yoga, aerobics, zumba, and the hotel itself offers a range of sports and its own running track with maps through the resort. The food in the restaurant was also enjoyable and varied with each night offering a new themed menu and each guest getting 2 a la carte choices (fish and Italian) per week stay. Whilst we didn’t partake, there was also the option to have a romantic candle lit dinner on the beach. We loved our stay at Cleopatra and we will definitely be back!
