What fantastic staff!
Can only repeat what our friend, Smiles has posted below! We have just returned from a very enjoyable ten day stay at the Sea Reef. The thing that stands out for me, was how friendly and helpful the whole staff were! The three members of staff, that Smiles mentioned, were exemplary! Simple things, like remembering your preferred drinks and having the dining table setup and waiting, with those preferred drinks, in the evening. I’ve never had that before! Maybe the fact that we were always respectful and courteous to the staff and regularly gave small tips, when deserved, helped? Regardless, they seemed to be as friendly and helpful to everyone, even people who don’t know how to say please or thank you? During the stay, we witnessed several “birthdays” being enthusiastically celebrated by the staff, in the restaurant and several guests seeking out various staff members for “farewell” hugs and photos. It was lovely to see! The hotel is not new and may be a little frayed around the edges (like a pair of well worn, yet comfortable shoes. Very, very clean shoes I might add!) but the friendliness of every member of staff that we met, more than makes up for that.
We would happily return! One thing Smiles did get wrong though: my wife and I are no longer in our 50’s!!! Shshshsh! Don’t tell her.
Don’t hesitate to book
We’re just returning from Srnty Sea Reef. We were two couples in our 50’s and one in her 30’s. We were welcomed late at night checked in quickly and guided to lovely hot fresh food. After eating we were shown to our rooms and the golf cart took our luggage. Our rooms were in block B2 which in my opinion is the perfect block. Kept beautifully clean by our friendly helpful gent Haitham Essam. The room was spacious with a lovely big powerful shower and comfortable beds. Our favourite pool was just outside. The atmosphere at the swim up bar was great and the barman Ahmed Aziz deserved a medal, he did the work of four men and always with a huge smile and some friendly banter he really did make our day. We had access to the baywatch restaurant for breakfast and evening meal. It had great views of the sea, excellent food prepared by the helpful chefs. We were welcomed with a kind greeting at every meal by the friendly manager and our waiter Mahmud took such good care of us. Always one step ahead of anything we may want we were made to feel really special. The snorkelling right off the short pier was out of this world, beautiful coloured reef and the fish were unbelievable all around you totally stunning. The staff work really hard but they definitely make your holiday with the way they are so friendly and kind and happy and helpful. We will return to this hotel without any hesitation. A really good time
We had a really good time staying at serenity alpha beach hotel. The rooms are cleaned everyday and the staff cleaning the rooms are really hardworking and kind people who can easily put a smile on your face. The hotel is overall clean.
The noise level is not that big especially that the loudest place is most of the time the upper pool and the stage above it. But every party or event there ends around 11pm so you can get your good sleep without loud outside noise. Even if you have a room close to that space you can just close your window and it’s shutting out the noise really well.
There’s a good variety of food in the main restaurant. Especially for seafood lovers there’s always something with seafood. Lunch and dinner have most of the time different foods than a day before but breakfast is most likely the same everyday. The waiters are also very friendly and happy to see you, they will serve you drinks to your table and definitely help you If you need something. And Bartenders will make sure you get your order - again very friendly and smiley people! I also recommend the à la carte restaurants - especially the Mexican one (It was really really good).
The beach has a beautiful reef so snorkeling is a must! Other than the beach there are a few pool areas. All of them just like the beach have lifeguards that make sure everyone is fine. The 2 pools closer to the beach are more quiet - you can chill and relax there on the sunbed or in the sea water at the bar that is literally in the pool. As I said earlier the upper pool is where the music is playing and where most of the animations are happening. You can participate in all sorts of activities that are prepared by the animation team. These people show up everyday and give absolutely everything they have to make your day amazing. Their energy is unmatched and they are really friendly and caring. You will spend your days smiling with them around.
The stay was really entertaining and also relaxing. You can choose however you want to spend your time since there is a space for all your needs. Had an amazing time. Hope to do it again someday!!
Serenity Alpha Beach
The hotel is located right on the beach, just about a 3-minute walk from the reception desk. Cleanliness and service are top-notch. The rooms are large and spacious. The food is very tasty and varied, so there is something for everyone. Drinks are available at the bar 24/7. By the hotel beach, there is a snorkeling spot supervised by lifeguards to ensure safety. Likewise, by the pool, the staff gladly help arrange sun loungers and umbrellas. Special recognition goes to the animation team (Koko, Steven, Boso, Adelin, Jolie, Maxine, Lisa, Katlyn, Zoe)—always helpful, smiling, and encouraging guests to join in activities; truly the right people in the right place. A highly recommended hotel for anyone looking to have a wonderful vacation.

Perfect relax in calm place
We were staying at the hotel middle September. It is located in Makadi Bay. Hotel has very nice beach with beautiful reef, so snorkel masks are obligatory. Atmosphere was very good, a lot of nice people ready to help you anytime. I personally strongly recomend relax pool next to „C” building - we met there the most hardworking person on earth - Ahmed Aziz - bartender, he is working all day with smile on his face and he is always checkin if you need something so you feel well-cared, even if i feel bad he asked me what’s wrong and made me special tea. Rooms were comfy and clean, towel art every day. It is quiet place for people who just wants to relax. Hotel is worth the price, food quality is excellent. I really loved staying there.
