KaiSol Romance Resort

We stayed at the Kaisol Romance Resort between 9th-23rd July. What a fabulous holiday we had. Two couples on their first visit to Egypt. Just 30 mins from the airport. On arrival we were met by the reception staff, who very quickly checked us in. We were showed to our rooms by the hotel concierge who went through key details of the rooms. Then one drink in the 24 hour bar ready to start our holiday bright and early the next morning. For the duration of the holiday we stayed around the relaxed pool, where the lifeguard (sorry forgot your name) always made sure our beds had towels on and looked after us around the pool area. The wonderful Amir served our drinks with the utmost kindness and professionalism. Amir always made sure your glass were full and always suggesting different options of drinks to try. Amir was always very polite and made sure our holiday was perfect. The staff were very polite and friendly in the main and a la carte restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was great, always something to choose from. They went above and beyond providing a professional service. The staff at the snack bar day and night were very friendly and helpful. Again glasses were never empty and replenished with your usual tipple. The hotel was very clean, rooms cleaned daily and replenished with soft drinks, water, tea and coffee. Our rooms were always cleaned to perfection and we were always welcomed by a towel decoration each day. Bassem who cleaned one of the rooms was always very polite and helpful. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosohere, all staff were very professional and friendly. Svetlana who walked thousands of steps each day, speaking to guests to make sure everyone had a fabulous experience. We only managed half a day at the beach (too hot) but again, beach bar staff very friendly. Ali, looked after us in the 24 hour bar each day before we headed down to the restaurant in an evening was always very polite and welcoming, cheeky smile and laugh, but very professional. One night we had a laugh by wearing the same outfits, (ladies v gents) we did get some. ooks, but we had a laugh and pictures with staff too. Overall a fabulous holiday and we have already booked for the same time next year. Thank you, Joanne, Ian, Martin and Karen. See you next year.

We came here in August. The weather was good. The best thing about the hotel is the food. Good quality and plenty of variety served hot and beautiful displays. Fresh cooking stations and different things every day. They also have some A la carte restaurants but these are quite difficult to book as it is a computer machine and you have to book them 3 days in advance only to find that they are not always available. We managed to book a couple of them and the meals were fantastic but the restaurants were empty. Just one other couple and the other tables empty. Perhaps they also had problems booking tables. There is a nasty virus going around the hotel which a lot of guests had. This was sickness, tiredness and diarrhea. Immodium does not work and you will have to go to the local pharmacy who is well stocked and deals with the problem regularly. There are pharmacies both to the left and right of the hotel as you go to the main street. The rooms were kept clean every day. A special mention to Sayed of housekeeping who looked after our room every day. There were problems with the room. The beds were super hard and very uncomfortable and I had backache every day although they did change the mattress but it was still hard and uncomfortable. The hotel needs lots of TLC. There was mold in the bathroom and bedroom. The toilet leaked and we had to put our towels and bath robes down to mop up the leaking water. We had a bath it was unusable as the plug was disconnected. So we had showers in the bath. When you had finished the shower the bath was half full of water and took 25 minutes to drain. The swimming pool is good but the the chairs again are very hard and uncomfortable and are not set apart. They are bunched up and you are like sardines with people next to you on top of you. There are are far too many chairs next to the top of the pool and these should be spread out. The service in the bars can be poor and this is due to one bartender managing two bars on different floors. So you may have to wait a while for a drink. There is pool service.

Just returned from a 10 night stay, excellent hotel, great friendly staff. The a la carte restaurant are amazing, lovely relaxing holiday.
