Amarina Abu Soma Resort and Aqua Park

I would like to tell you about my experience with Amarina Abu Soma Resort & Aquapark. The staff is great, any request I had they manage to meet my expectations, starting with the front desk, Mr. Ahmed Ali: I requested a room for my aunt that had a knee injury and he helped me. The operation manager, Mr. Mahomed Hassan, that brought to the bar a drink that they didn't have at the moment. And last and but not least, Mr. Maged, the bartender from the Lobby Bar, that always is willing to crack a joke with you and have a smile on his face. The resort is well managed, has a lot of greenery, the pools are cleaned regularly and the beach is amazing (there is a sea turtle which pokes its head out of the sea every few hours and if you are lucky enough it can even get closer to you, if u bring snorkeling equipment you can experience this in more detail and watch the sea life perfectly, from a distance). Overall the my experience with this resort is a positive one.

The resort itself is huge and very well-kept. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a lovely view of the well-maintained gardens. The beach right in front of the hotel is a massive highlight—crystal clear water, plenty of sunbeds, and a great coral reef nearby if you like snorkeling. The food in the main restaurant had a great variety, and the Italian à la carte restaurant was a wonderful change of pace for dinner. The aqua park was also a fun bonus where we spent a couple of afternoons acting like kids again! While we loved the resort, we didn't want to overpay for excursions through our hotel tour operator. A friend recommended a local agency called Sheriff Egypt, and they were absolute gold! You can easily find them by searching their name online. Their prices are significantly lower than what the hotel guides charge, and the booking process was completely stress-free. We booked two trips with them, and both exceeded our expectations: Cairo Trip (Mini-group): We went to Cairo in a small group of up to eight people with a private guide. It felt so exclusive compared to those massive, crowded tourist buses. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and we didn't feel rushed at all at the pyramids and the museum. We did a boat trip to Hula Hula Island, and it was breathtaking! The yacht was brand new, extremely clean, and very comfortable. The crew and guides were super professional and spoke fluent English, making sure everyone was safe and having a great time. If you are planning a trip to Amarina Abu Soma, definitely check out Sheriff Egypt for your tours—you’ll save money and get a much better, more personal experience. Highly recommended!
