Overlooking the Red Sea, the Breakers Diving and Surfing Lodge is located at Soma Bay. It offers rooms with a balcony, a large outdoor pool and a spa center nearby. The air-conditioned rooms at the Breakers Diving are brightly decorated. They have satellite TV and a private bathroom. Some rooms include a sea view. The relaxation area includes a pool and gym with great sea views. TMC Spa offers guests a wide range of treatments including hydrotherapies and seaweed wraps. The Breakers staff can arrange activities such as kite surfing or reef diving in front of the resort. Safaris and trips to Luxor are also available. Breakfast and dinner is served at the waterside Dolphin restaurant, which also offers wood fired pizzas. The beachside Reef Bar has a dance floor and lounge area. The hotel offers a shuttle service from Hurghada Airport, which is 28 mi away.

My Go-To Hotel in Soma Bay!
The Breakers in Soma Bay is my go-to place whenever I’m in the area. This is definitely not my first time staying here, and I keep coming back because of the consistently great experience.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay. One of the biggest advantages for me is having Orca Dive Club right inside the hotel, which makes the whole diving experience incredibly convenient and enjoyable. Being able to stay at the hotel and have the dive center just steps away makes everything so easy—from getting ready for the dives to heading back to the hotel afterward.
For anyone coming to Soma Bay for diving, The Breakers is an excellent choice. Great hotel, great atmosphere, and a fantastic dive center right on site. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back again!

What a fabulous hotel Amazing friendly, helpful staff Food was varied every day and excellent Lots of entertainment every night Lots of games - snooker, chess, table football, ping pong

Calm retreat under palms for snorkeling, diving, kiting and relaxing
We came here for an educational trip from our our university to study the local reef fish. The Breakers offered the perfect atmosphere for us to focus on what we wanted to do and not bother with logistics. They organized a pickup for us from the Airport, the staff was always kind hearted and flexible, and the Room service offers to clean the hotel rooms daily. There are offerings if you are also interested in diving, snorkeling or daily trips to other places of interest in Egypt line Cairo. Though due to its remote nature planning city trips on a larger scale is a little complicated. However if you are interested in water sports and a relaxed stay under palms i can recommend the Breakers.
Wonderful stay
Had a lovely time and break. Pristine waters, fantastic jetty and snorkelling.
Fabulous buffet, friendly staff and nice big room.
Two little things though, make sure not to get a room on top of restaurant, fab views but kitchen smells if you stay on balcony. Speeches are mainly in German, an English shortened version would be appreciated for non German speaking holiday makers :)
But all in all, bravo! Super place!

Home away from home
The Breakers has truly become a second home for me. I absolutely love the vibe, the atmosphere, and especially the amazing staff. It’s one of those rare places that fills up your heart. Keep up the fantastic work!
