- Movenpick Resort Sharm el Sheikh

The stunning Movenpick Sharm El Sheikh boasts a prime location and five private beaches in Naama Bay. Guests will feel like Arabian princes and princesses in the lavish rooms and suites decorated with ornate carved wood furnishings, plump, sumptuous beds, and characteristic window screens. The four onsite restaurants serve irresistible buffet style meals, light, summery meals by the shimmering outdoor pool, and tandoor and hot naan bread in the lavish Indian restaurant overlooking the bay. Visitors might go scuba diving with the on-site diving centre and in the evening take a short stroll to the centre of Sharm El Sheikh to experience the resort town's vibrant nightlife with cafés, bars, restaurants, and bazaars. Alternatively, guests can relax with a massage and meditation and yoga class in the wellness centre while children delight in the kids' club and playgrounds, all for an exotic holiday retreat in Sharm el Sheikh.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Amazing Stay at Mövenpick Sharm El Sheikh
I had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick Sharm El Sheikh. The hotel has a beautiful location, great facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere.
A special mention to Basma Mohammad and Nastassia for their exceptional hospitality and professionalism. Their warm attitude, attention to detail, and the way they dealt with guests were truly top-notch. They went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The staff overall were friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the service was excellent. I really appreciated how welcoming and accommodating everyone was throughout my stay.
Definitely a memorable experience, and I would happily recommend Mövenpick Sharm El Sheikh to others. I look forward to staying here again!
This is honestly one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had in Egypt. In my opinion, it is even better than many of the top resorts in Sharm El Sheikh.
I am an ALL Accor Diamond member, and the level of service and hospitality I received was exceptional. The team took great care of me and provided me with a villa, which I can confidently say is one of the best rooms in the entire resort—and possibly one of the best villas in Sharm El Sheikh.
Every member of the staff was extremely friendly, professional, and attentive. The amenities are excellent, the service is outstanding, and every detail was handled perfectly.
A special thank you to Basma and Mohamed Nasir for taking such great care of me and making my stay truly special. Their hospitality and personal attention made a big difference.
Overall, everything was perfect, and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxury stay in Sharm El Sheikh.
Location is good Food is terrible Rooms, escalators, sofas even in the réception are dirty. Animation is poor. Staff in the restaurant is nice and friendly as well as room sevices, especially Ahmed.
Beautiful hotel, but a very disappointing experience
The hotel is aesthetically beautiful and certainly has some positive aspects: it is close to the beach, the resort grounds are pleasant, and you can enjoy walking around the property.
Unfortunately, however, the positive aspects almost end there.
The reception staff were very disappointing: little friendliness, very little attention to guests, and we rarely even saw a smile.
But the biggest problem was definitely the food: truly, truly disappointing, especially considering the price and supposed level of the hotel. The quality, variety, and overall food experience were far below our expectations.
We purchased an All-Inclusive package, but throughout our stay we constantly felt that almost nothing was actually “all inclusive.” Every time we asked for something, we were told that it involved an extra charge. In the end, it felt as though little more than water was actually included. Considering the price we paid, I find this completely unacceptable.
Another extremely annoying aspect was the constant pressure from people trying to sell services, excursions, photos, and additional packages while we were simply trying to relax. I was even approached while I was sleeping.
The prices requested by the photographers were also, in my opinion, outrageous. During an excursion organized with a company called Scorpion, we were asked to pay €180 for just 15 photos. I personally consider this an absurd amount.
The housekeeping service was also very disappointing. Staff even rang our doorbell at 8:30 in the morning asking to clean the room. Being woken up like this while on holiday is simply unacceptable.
Most importantly, the cleanliness of the room was poor. We found curtains stained with sauce, dust in several areas, and overall the cleaning was very superficial and far below the standard expected from a hotel of this category.
In conclusion, the property itself is beautiful, and the location and proximity to the beach are definite advantages. However, considering the price we paid, the quality of the food, the cleanliness, the level of service, and especially our experience with the All-Inclusive package were extremely disappointing.
This hotel has great potential, but it seriously needs to improve its service, cleanliness, food quality, and attention to its guests.
The location is amazing, and the food is excellent. The staff in the restaurants and around the resort are incredibly supportive and always go above and beyond to help. The beaches and pools are beautiful, relaxing, and very well maintained.
Unfortunately, our experience with the reception staff was disappointing. I called twice to request hand soap, and both times I was told that someone would send it, but nothing was delivered. They also take an extremely long time to respond to requests, and I’m not sure why.
The air conditioning also needed several repairs. A technician had to come to our room three times before the issue was resolved.
Upon our arrival, we were initially given a room that strongly smelled of cigarette smoke. Since we were traveling with a child, the environment was not suitable, and we ended up spending nearly half of our first day waiting to be moved to a clean room.
One other downside is that there were very few activities for children. We were also expecting more of a fun summer atmosphere with music and entertainment, but that was missing.
Overall, the resort has a fantastic location, excellent food, and wonderful staff outside of reception. However, the poor service at reception and the issues we experienced upon arrival significantly affected our stay.
