Room was lovely & clean, cleaned daily with fresh towels etc. Food was awful with people pushing in past you all the time, constantly running out of plates & cutlery that’s if you could get to a table. Restaurant waiters were rude & entertainment was non existent
The hotel is very dated in the middle of no where with derelict buildings around it. The rooms are ok but very basic definitely need a refresh. The cleaners do come every day which is good. The food is none existent for the English we lived on crisp butties or occasionally they did chips or roast potatoes most of the food was rice dishes they did Nan bread pizza with tomato ketchup base and minimal cheese so they were inedible. The pool was ok but broken tiles around the edges of the pool and the steps were broke. The snacks around the pool were at 4 every day but it was little muffins with crap meat and rubber cheese no change from day to day. The staff around the pool and in the restaurant were very pleasant but there were also some very rude I would not recommend this hotel at all which is a shame because some of the staff were lovely but not catered for the English food wise.
On day 8 and glad waited to write as first impression wasn’t the true impression. Rooms are clean, spacious and the staff are amazing and couldn’t do enough for you! Food isn’t great, but they have to cater to all, not just brits. Saw plenty of people take what I thought was weird for breakfast - pureed potatoes, spiced kidney beans and cous cous. The omelette station is outside btw, found it morning 2 onwards so breakfast got better. If you like chicken and rice you’ll be fine. A lot of stuff I turned my nose up at but remember, it’s not the UK. A lot of fish and stuff on offer. Don’t expect burgers, pizza and chips lol. Naama bay a half hour walk down the hill. Hotel taxi service is great and cheap! Got taxi to Soho last night, give you WhatsApp to just message them when you want picked up again… so easy and pay by card at desk in hotel so no hassle. There is a bus that runs up and down to beach 4 or 5 times a day but have to book it the day before if want a space on it. First impression wasn’t great due to the building work going on outside (not hotels fault that is it) and food not great. But… glad to say my opinion got 100 times better once actually spent time here and now I would definitely come back!
The receptionist gave us a wonderful and spacious room, the hotel is really clean. There are fun events in the evenings, the animators are very cheerful and don't let you be sad💃✨
Staff were all lovely, polite and very friendly. Check in was good we had a small problem but tgat was just due to the launguage barrier but with a bit of time was sorted. We paid to keep our room on until 5 the day of departure The animation team went above and beyond to chat and make you feel welcome, also the cleaners were brilliant kept the rooms very clean, they also made decorations out of the towels The pool was lovely it did need a clean but as its open all year round i assume there no right day or time of year to empty it and scrub it. Taxis are really reasonable in the area and you can book them in reception. Our family did a few trips purchased in the hotel and they enjoyed them all. There was 6 of us pn holiday 3 of us were ok with the food and 3 didnt eat , we just had taxis to eat out. We loved our trip , the food does let the hotel down but everything else was brilliant , we would definatly return. It was a bargain for what we had even without the food. Drinks in the bars are proper coke, fanta , sprite etc. We didnt drink alcohol in the hotel but that was just personal choice. If you have booked or going to book hope you enjoy as much as we did.
