Coral Sea Holiday Resort Aqua Park

Our 4th visit and not our last!

We decided when we got back last year to return and it did not disappoint as always.

Our request for our room in block 8 was met, this is a great location for us and have previously stayed in this block. Rooms are tired and need of an upgrade but they are clean and very spacious which we love! Our cleaner was great and would clean the room daily for us. We did have to ask for more pool towels.

Food - Great choice of food in all parts of the hotel. Buffet was very busy at times but always managed to find something to eat. Food court for lunch is really nice, great choice and always more chilled than the buffet.

Al a carte -

American: This is one of our favorites, although are second visit wasn't as nice as the first time. Second visit started with that we didn't have a booking (we had screenshot of confirmation) Manager (Wael) seemed bit annoyed and miserable and pointed at a table (restaurant wasn't even busy) , service was good but not the standard we have had at previous visits.

Sari (Indian) - After it being a bit disappointing last year they have definitely turned it around this time! Food was really tasty and the curries were amazing. This was definitely our favorite.

Bamboo (Asian) - Was nice but not your typical 'Chinese', the satay sauce looked and tasted of nothing, we did raise this with the chef. Other foods were tasty and service was fantastic!

Greek - Was our least favorite last year, thought we would try it again. Service was great, food was very nice and the atmosphere of the new renovations was great.

Stone grill (Payable) - We loved the stone grill previous so we had to go back. Food did not disappoint. Service was great , starters took a bit of time to come out but mains were quicker. Overall Excellent value for money

Entertainment - Never bored here, always something to do. Purples were full of energy and always gave 100%. Special thank you to all the purples but especially Sam, Toby, Jacob, Danni, Kayleigh and Rita. Our son particularly enjoyed doing the mocktail making with the zone. Stage academy - Our son did stage academy twice with Aimee and Hollie, he really enjoyed it and was so lovely to see his and others confidence on the stage!

Staff - A massive thank you to all the staff at the hotel for making our holiday amazing, this goes down to the cleaners, gardeners, lifeguards, bar staff, waiting staff, porters, reception staff etc. they are a credit to you all!

Ahmed Rashed - Always welcomes you with a smile! great service.

Mohamed (Foden) - Always greets you with a smile, very friendly and attentive.

Nouran - Lovely lady from the lobby bar, always greeted us with a smile and made sure we were hydrated, Great service!

Shady - Great service, very friendly.

Hany - Very attentive, always makes the effort to make sure we were good for drinks.

Also Bassam and Mohamed Ashref? (breakfast buffet) thanks for the great service.

Maniem (Lifeguard), Always helps lay our pool towels down and making sure we were comfortable and just a lovely, friendly man!

Gaber - Always said hello and asked if everything was ok etc felt he was the most warm and attentive of the managers this year, thank you!

Overall great holiday, noticed slight decrease in drinks service but it was also really busy but always managed to get a drink.

We can't wait to return next year for our 5th visit!

We returned from our 2nd visit here as a family, staying in a swim up room. I did request to be in blocks 10 or 11 as we stayed in this area previously but were situated in block 9, which I did notice was slightly louder in the evening, being closer to the entertainment. The room was clean and cleaners were polite. Bar staff came around twice in morning & twice in the afternoon. Our safe wasn’t working & I logged this via the app…..no one ever came so it’s still broken when we left. Not sure we would come back here, the hotel itself is fine but our kids are slightly older now (10 & 7), neither wanted to do kids club or were interested in the evening entertainment so might be time for a change.

The hotel is very beautiful. We really enjoyed it! Nouran is very kind
