Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Just spent 2 weeks here,4 th time we have been in 3 years. We keep going back because I’m in a wheelchair.there is ramps in and ou of every building.THERE IS no where I can’t get into.THE staff in the palm restaurant are amazing.they see me and take me all round the food,so I can choose, they plate it up for me.AND CARRY IT BACK TOO MY TABLE.THE STAFF ALL WORK EXTREMELY HARD,TOO MAKE IT THE PERFECT HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE.THE FOOD IS ALL TOP QUOLITY,COOKED TO PERFECTION. WE STAYED IN BLOCK 3. I was able too get around in my wheelchair, without any problem.lovely big bathroom,no problem.this hotel and all its staff deserve too be given the highest star rating.its that fabulous.rooms was cleaned spotless.it’s definitely the best hotel in sharm el shake.we went over too the sea breeze too see family.would definitely recommend that hotel if you have children, food was amazing, plenty of choices to choose from, CAROLINE INGRAMS
We booked an 8-night stay at Rixos, but unfortunately the experience was far from what we expected. The service was very poor, and the staff at reception were not helpful when we asked for assistance.
One of the biggest problems was that despite staying for 8 nights, we could not get reservations at the hotel’s restaurants. We asked the reception team to help us, but they did not provide any useful assistance.
The cleanliness of the room was also disappointing and did not meet the standards we expected from a Rixos hotel.
Overall, we were very unhappy with our stay. The service, cleanliness, and organization were not satisfactory. I definitely do not recommend this hotel, and I would not come back again
We're here right now. It's generally a lovelly hotel with some problems.
Starting with the gripes.
We're both from the UK and have both been ill from a dodgy tummy for a good half of the holiday. The hotel gives you lots of 'bottled' water, but something is definetly wrong. Maybe it's the ice, maybe it's the water used to prepare the salad - which was something we did have a lot off.
My partner is a vegetarian and has a fish allergy. The hotel gave us a card to show to the people in the restaurants, however this was never of much use. The first time we tried it the chef was just looking through the food with a spoon to guess what was in it. If you have an critical allergy be careful.
Dining continues to be a problem, the restaurants which are the best places to eat get booked very quickly. Yet if you walk past at the times available there is so many empty tablea. This is extra painful when you are finally better and can enjoy food again, but cannot visit the restaurant of choice. We think other guests are booking things enmass but simply not turning up. Very disappointing that the hotel doesn't do anything about it.
On the maybe good maybe bad side, the hotel is focused on a younger more bar oriented scene. The music will be pumping from 6 to well into the night. This is fine for me, but if you want to normally head to bed early you'll need a room a good way from the different stages. Probably up near reception, which rules out a lot of the suites.
For the good side, the staff are generally great. The room is very well maintained, the grounds are great, bars are awesome and there seems to be plenty of sun beds. (if a touch close together) The beach offers a lovelly view, and make sure you snorkel of the pier.
Its the best Resort here in Sharm El Sheikh. Everything is perfect
