we arrived as a family group of 7 requiring 2 rooms . which were oppesite end of hotel. on awaking at 7am the 1st morning & going to the main pool which was just outside our room every bed had a towel on but nobody was sat on the beds. on asking the main pool man i was informed everybody was having breakfast????. so my family went and had breakfast came back & still loads of beds still empty with just towels on. we went to reception where i did complain about this and was told it would be noted. we ended up by the little pool further up. so next morning my husband got up at 6am to get our sunbeds. which he had to do everyday through out our holiday. we have been coming to egypt for 12 years to different hotels and not once have we had to do this. but we did also notice money change hands with the main pool man so thats proberly why towels were on sunbeds and people didnt show up while dinner time. also we were also conned by the taxi service.. we asked for a taxi into soho square and was charged £20 return. yes we found out later that if you came out the hotel and turn left and walked 5 mins there was soho square. so that taxi service in the hotel could have just been honest and told us that but no they are after your money. also while you are sat by the pool the touts dont leave you alone. they are constantly on and on at you for your money for trips. we found them expensive and got our boat trip cheaper with our easy jet rep which was great. when we told a tout this he got really nasty with us. in the end we were told about a red card that we could put on the parasol and they didnt like that. as for the hotel it isnt a 5 star. theres not much to do. my husband had to clean round where we were sitting by the pool as there was cigerette ends all left. food is the same. staff seem rushed but not there fault. hotel definatly needs updating. we also got the tummy bug and asked for help at the guest relations desk who didnt know what i was on about, so i asked at reception who told me a pharmacy in soho square opened at 11.00am. so i googled mapped it. found a pharmacey outside the hotel turned right theres a row of shops and its there. £12 for the tabs. its a shame theyve gone money mad.
