Sierra Sharm el Sheikh

1st time in Sharm el Sheikh Amenities They have a towel card system, you hand your towel card in to the life guard he gives you a towel, when you have finished you hand your towel back you get your towel card back , Oasis pool the lifeguards both Mohammed are stars so so helpful and polite Concierge Samuel and Ramadan are fantastic such genuine gentlemen, they couldn't do enough for you they are stars Restaurant The restaurant is spotless, very very well staffed, a massive selection of food Breakfast A massive selection of fresh fruit, There is a omelette station,chef cooking omelettes to order ,a very large selection of coffee and fruit juice Lunch A massive selection of hot and cold food, burgers,bread and desserts Dinner A massive selection of Egyptian, English and food from around the world, there is something for everyone, a huge selection of desserts, a massive bread display, they have a outdoor bbq Pizza, fresh seafood, burgers ect , Late buffet 11pm till 1am Restaurant Staff They work very very hard ,they are immaculate always with a big smile, I would like to thank Mandou (Restaurant manager) ( Phil green hair) he will know what i mean,I would like to thank the Head Chef Sharif and 2nd Chef Ayman,
Main bar A very wide selection of drinks, cocktails, mock cocktails and beer All inclusive, still available after checkout, we checked out at 12pm and had drinks and lunch till we left at 4pm Entertainment Singer at the main bar Roof Terrace Bar Belly dancing Main Stage Soho Square 5 mins walk from Sierra Hotel Bar free to Sierra hotel guests at the main stage Shops at Sierra hotel Perfume shop ( Hani ) A great watch shop ( I bought 4 watches) Kids club Face painting, cooking lessons I would like to say a huge massive thank you to all the staff, a massive thank you to Mandou ( restaurant manager) he went above and beyond, he is a massive credit to the hotel, the food is amazing, Head Chef Sharif and 2nd Chef Ayman are always at the buffet making sure everything is good, The staff were always cleaning, there was a gentlemen called Mohammed sweeping up mopping and making sure the floor was spotless he didn't miss anything he is a star

This was our first visit to Sierra Sharm el Sheikh, We can say with absolute pleasure that Sierra very much deserves to be the number one rated Hotel in Sharm el Sheikh.

I have severe mobility issues and struggle to walk more than one minute without the use of a wheelchair. By the second day, I was struggling significantly to walk from my ground floor room to the main bar/pool and buffet restaurant. We decided to ask at Guest Services near the Main Reception if it would be possible for me to have a wheelchair to use throughout my stay at Sierra. Within 2 hours I was given a wheelchair. Aisha at Guest Services could not do enough to ensure I was comfortable, and suggested we may benefit from moving to a new room located closer to the pool, bar and restaurant area. Lenka, also at Guest Services secured an apartment suitable for us within 24 hours. It was much closer to all facilities and easier for my husband to assist me, he is also disabled. The kindness at Sierra Hotel did not stop there. We were truly overwhelmed by the amount of times all the staff at the hotel went above and beyond to ensure we were constantly happy and comfortable.

Cleanliness/comfort Sierra Hotel is exceptionally clean. Towels are refreshed daily in your room if required, and bedding can be refreshed as often as you require. Staff are very attentive, always polite and professional. Air con in the room is of a high standard and was very much appreciated during a very hot stay! Bed was very spacious and comfortable. There was a large TV in our room which had a wide range of channels including several with English Movies. There was also Tea and Coffee making facilities in the room if required. Bathroom was large and had great facilities.

Amenities Sierra has a large tennis court. We noticed this was well used at the hotel and had great facilities. Main pool Operates a towel card system. You hand the card in and receive a towel. Return towel and get card back. You can't reserve sunbeds at Sierra which I think is fair and a nice touch. There is no swimming in the pool after dusk in the pools at Sierra. Again we thought this was a good system. There is a jacuzzi and spa, as well as various pools dotted around the hotel. We sat at the oasis pool area most days. The Lifeguards there (both called Mohammed) were exceptionally kind, polite and helpful. I was helped personally to enter the pool in the jacuzzi area by the Lifeguards, and towels and drinks were brought to us. We felt very special! We used the main pool daily in the morning too as it was easier to access with my mobility and has steps into the pool. By the second/third day, staff remembered us and even made sure we could had sunbeds as close as possible to the pool entrance so it was easier for me to walk.

Concierge When we arrived on the first day at Sierra, Samuel was so helpful and polite. He said if we needed escorting anywhere at all to let him know and he would personally take us there. Ramadan, also at Concierge delivered us a more comfortable wheelchair directly to our room which we did not even ask for! Again, demonstrating Sierra staff consistently go above and beyond.

Buffet Restaurant The restaurant is exceptionally clean, very well staffed with a huge selection of food available Breakfast Omelette station Wide range of bread/croissants Large range of fresh fruit Lunch Wide range of both hot and cold options Dinner Large selection of international dishes Large bread display Huge selection of desserts which were delicious 😋 Outdoor BBQ serving Pizza, seafood, burgers Late buffet We were really impressed that there was a late buffet available which operates 11pm till 1am. We landed in Sharm at 10.30pm after a flight delay so were extremely grateful for the late buffet. All food is delicious, fresh and replenished constantly. There is also an in-house restaurant at Sierra which is available to book at reception. It is included in all inclusive as long as you book in advance. Restaurant Staff We can't speak highly enough about the restaurant Staff at Sierra. Even though I do have very limited mobility, I do try to walk with my wheelchair if I can, if only for a minute or so. From the first day, all restaurant staff could not do enough for me, offering to carry my plate, bring my drink, constantly checking I was comfortable and happy. Mamdou the restaurant manager should be exceptionally proud of all his team. They are extremely hard working, always polite, beautifully presented and cannot do enough for you. Mamdou made us feel so special and cared for and can't thank him and his staff enough. Special mention also to the head Chef Sharif and 2nd Chef Ayman. We commented we wanted to take them both home as our personal chefs! Outstanding food. The Chefs and Staff take immense pride in the presentation of the food in the restaurant, constantly checking quality etc. Your care and attention certainly did not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated. Main bar Large selection of mocktails/cocktails/local beer I particularly liked the Vodka and watermelon punch. I did make my way though most drinks on the menu too which were lovely! Again, all staff very hard working and attentive. All Staff quickly remembered you personally by name and your drink/food orders. All inclusive is even still available at Sierra on the day you check out at 12 noon. We had lunch and drinks after we checked out at 12 not leaving until 4pm. This was brilliant. He ended up buying 4 at the onsite shop at Sierra! Shop owner so friendly and knowledgeable. Also Hani who has the perfume oil shop. Again so friendly and helpful. Kids Club Face painting Play station Bowling Cooking lessons Kids movies Coach trips from Sierra Daily free coach to old market/Naama Bay Conclusion We can't rate Sierra highly enough. The amount of care and attention we received by all staff was truly humbling. June 2027 we will be returning for a 2nd time which we are so excited about.
