We absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed for 2 nights before our safari and another 10 nights afterwards, giving us a total of 12 nights at the resort on an all-inclusive package. The hotel grounds and gardens are beautiful, full of palm trees and tropical plants, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It is the perfect place to unwind and embrace the true Hakuna Matata spirit. What really makes this resort special is the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, helpful, and always smiling. Their hard work and genuine hospitality made us feel at home throughout our stay. A special mention must go to the entertainment team, who did a fantastic job keeping guests engaged without ever being intrusive. We particularly enjoyed the aqua aerobics sessions and several lovely beach walks with Caren and Benjamin, who were both great company and a real credit to the resort. James – the pool attendant was also lovely so helpful and ready to accommodate us. I stepped on Tar on the beach (returning from watch the sun set at the Kongo river – it was dark on the way back), and he did all he could to wash it off of my Burking Stocks sandals – James was lovely. We also loved spending time around the pool, cooling off with a swim, enjoying drinks from the pool bar, and dining at the Grill restaurant. The beach and sea were wonderful, especially at low tide when conditions were ideal for swimming and exploring. While we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday overall, there were a couple of areas that could be improved. The main one was the food. Although there was always something to eat, we found the selection quite repetitive and lacking variety, with many dishes appearing day after day. In addition, the food was often only lukewarm rather than hot. We were also disappointed by the à la carte restaurant policy. As guests staying for a total of 12 nights, we were only entitled to one à la carte meal because the policy allows one visit per seven-day stay. Given that 12 nights is much closer to 14 than it is to 7, it felt rather inflexible and somewhat disappointing. A little more generosity in this regard would have been appreciated, especially for longer-stay guests. Also Capuchinos were not included in all inclusive - I was shocked - that is cheap! Despite these points, we had a wonderful holiday and would happily return. The beautiful setting, excellent staff, fantastic entertainment team, and relaxed atmosphere more than made up for the shortcomings. Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay so memorable.
We absolutely loved our stay here. We had 2 nights before a safari trip then another 7 nights after. The gardens are beautiful with all the palm trees, it’s so calming and peaceful. The staff are amazing, so helpful and smiley. The entertainment team were great, aqua aerobics was really good fun and we had a few lovely beach walks with Benjamin, Wesley and Caren who were so lovely and chatty. We wanted to watch football one afternoon but it wasn’t available on tv so Rodger found it on his laptop for us - so lovely and helpful. The food is great in the buffet restaurant, the pool bar and the Grill restaurant. Lovely pool to cool off in and have a swim. The sea was a little choppy in an afternoon but still swimmable.
It’s one of the best holidays I’ve had - definitely hope to return one day. It’s just a really happy but peaceful, calming place - hakuna Matata
You might wonder why we keep returning to the same place, but once you've tried, tested, and fallen in love with it 5 times over, the answer becomes rather obvious, some places simply earn their place in your heart.
What a special trip from start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond to make the kids birthday celebration unforgettable.
The cake presentation was a true highlight, the team gave it their all and the kids were absolutely thrilled. The room decoration was another beautiful touch that showed just how much thought and care went into making this milestone memorable for them.
A huge thank you to the restaurant team, Antony, Moses, Brenda, Mariam, Eunice, Thomas (still in training but already excellent!), and Kajuju, for the wonderful and attentive service throughout our stay. The best and sweetest touch is how everyone knows jist how I like my tea! It's the little things right?!
The Kids Club attendants, Ms. Fenny, Halima, Neymar, Gloria, and Tyra, were exceptional with the little ones, keeping them engaged and happy the entire time. We also loved the salsa lessons led by Sam and his A-team, such a fun treat!
And of course, our stay wouldn't have been the same without the warm welcome from the reception team. Honourable mention to Faith and Salome...you two sure do know how to make a girl feel special. And ofcourse Mr. Kioko himself, who as always made sure we felt right at home in every way possible.
We left with so many beautiful memories and can't wait to come back. Thank you, Leopard team, for going above and beyond, again!
We’ve just returned from a truly unforgettable family holiday at Leopard Beach Resort, and we couldn’t have asked for a more special experience, starting from the moment we arrived.
The resort itself is beautiful, with stunning gardens, a gorgeous beach and plenty of wildlife around us. Seeing monkeys, bush babies, hermit crabs and all the other wildlife made the whole experience completely different to any of our previous family holidays.
However, what really made our stay were the people.
A particular mention has to go to Caren from the animation team, who was absolutely wonderful. She brought so much fun and energy to our holiday and made it incredibly memorable for all of us. Our daughter adored her, and she really helped make the whole experience so much fun.
Solomon was also fantastic and incredibly generous with his time. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble.
And Rosalee, who made one of our evenings at the fish restaurant incredibly memorable. She really touched our hearts, and it was one of those lovely moments from the holiday that we will remember for a very long time.
The food was excellent, and the kitchen team were particularly wonderful with our daughter, who has coeliac disease. They took her dietary requirements seriously and went out of their way to make sure she was well catered. The restaurant staff generally and chef Joshua was incredible at checking all was well. We never walked by a member of staff who didn't greet us.
We came home with wonderful memories and a real affection for the people who made our stay so special.
Thank you to everyone at Leopard Beach, especially Caren, Solomon and Rosalee for making our first family trip to Kenya so incredibly memorable. We hope to return one day.
I stayed at Leopard Beach Hotel for 8 nights, and while you can see from the photos just how beautiful the beach, rooms and hotel are, what the photos simply can’t capture is the incredible people who work here. I’ve stayed in countless hotels around the world, and I can honestly say I’ve never encountered such a warm, welcoming and genuinely amazing team. The staff don’t just provide a service — they enrich your entire experience and make you feel truly cared for. A very special shout-out to Francis and Solomon from the entertainment team, who brought so much energy and warmth; Genevieve, our wonderful beachside waitress; and Halima and Mary from Horizon, who were absolutely fantastic. By the end of my stay, I was genuinely sad to say goodbye. That, more than anything, says how special this place is. The beach and hotel are beautiful, but it’s the people who make Leopard Beach unforgettable. You simply won’t find anywhere else with such an amazing team. I can’t wait to return! ❤️
