Hotel Du Golf

We had a really lovely stay at Pickalbatros Hotel Du Golf in Morocco. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and they genuinely couldn’t do enough for us throughout our stay.

There was always something to do, with plenty of activities and entertainment, which made the days really enjoyable. In particular, Mahdi was really helpful and we enjoyed the pool activities he ran. The food was also great, with a good variety, and we really enjoyed the drinks too.

Our room was clean and comfortable and was kept really well during our stay. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel.

The hotel is fantastic. Really clean rooms and serviced daily. Great food and client service, I would recommend it to anyone. The entertainment is brilliant, especially Mahdi was great and so friendly!

If you read poor reviews on this hotel, ignore them!!! I travelled here with my two daughters and my granddaughter to celebrate my 70th birthday. I was slightly apprehensive having never travelled to Morocco before and after reading some of the reviews for the hotel, but my fears were unfounded. It is beautiful here. Not a particularly long journey from the airport and when you arrive, the building is lovely. The staff are amazing, so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and modern and everywhere is spotlessly clean. I have honestly never been to a hotel where absolutely every member of staff is so dedicated to keeping the place immaculate. And speaking of staff, where do I begin? Everyone greets you with a smile, many of them love a chat and they all want to ensure you are having a good time. I need to especially single out Adam, Ibrahim and especially Salina in the restaurant. Her pretty face each day was a wonderful addition to our meals. The food here is also incredible. The buffet choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner is wonderful, if you can’t find anything to eat here that suits you, then I would say you are impossible to please. We have enjoyed every meal we have eaten here and the bread is incredible!!! Outside we have never struggled to find a lounger to enjoy the pool area even after coming back in the afternoon after a trip out. The pools are cold after being in the hot sun but very refreshing and I don’t see that as a negative. Now we come to the animation staff. Where do I begin? They are all so incredibly hard working!!! And such good fun! I think they are all amazing but must single out Diva, Tony, Ish, Medi, Heba most of all Hamza!! My kids told him it was my birthday and unbeknownst to any of us, the following night they took me on stage and sang happy birthday to me in English, French and Arabic. And later even joined in with a round of Happy birthday in Welsh. After finishing on duty Hamza would always come and sit with us and play cards and tell us all about life in Morocco which was utterly fascinating. He deserves all the praise that he gets, he is such a pleasant, well mannered young man and we all loved spending time in his company. I cannot fault any of the entertainment team and they have really made our stay here special! None of us want to leave and we will most definitely come for a break here again!!
