Beautiful hotel - spotlessly clean. Large bedroom, shower with separate toilet. Food was fantastic - lots of choice. We didn't eat at the pool bar but plenty of people did. No queues at the bar - staff fast and friendly. Not much outside the hotel, a very large Supermarket ten mins from the hotel which sold absolutely everything. The evening entertainment wasn't very good, a quiz one night then singers - some better than others. Very quiet pool - lots of sunbeds available all through the day. Very enjoyable stay.
From the moment I arrived, the hotel impressed me with its welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail. The facilities are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained, creating a sense of ease for every guest.Yet what truly elevates the experience is the team. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication shine through in every interaction. Whether it’s the morning staff greeting guests with a smile, or the attentive service throughout the day, they consistently go above and beyond.
Having travelled to many holiday resorts across the world and staying in 3/4//and 5star hotels this is the first time I feel compelled to submit a complaint having just returned from a very disappointing 14 nights All Inclusive holiday to Marrakech in Morocco staying at the Jaal Resort Hotel. Having looked at the Trust Pilot reviews prior to booking and going on this holiday we were a bit alarmed as to the adverse reviews which got considerably worse as we got closer to the departure date . We decided to go ahead with the holiday we had booked with an open mind, hopefully it was not as bad as some of the reviews we had read. We arrived at the hotel not offered any refreshment or freshen up towels like most 4 star hotels do and then had to wait for the best part of an hour to get checked in. Shown to our room with very little information as to the hotel itinerary or layout. Room was ok apart from a loose toilet seat which was reported. It was reported three times to reception with a broken plug was loose after I remove the plug I had used to charge my Hearing Aids. The beds were very firm in the room two singles pushed together with oversized toppers and mattress protectors so the bed linen did not fit properly. The meal in the restaurant were also disappointing with a limited selection for European guests, the hot meals were only warm or cold cooked meat was overcooked and tough to eat. Items were not replenished at a reasonable rate trying to get staff to help took quite a few minutes. They appeared to have a limited amount of beer per sitting as on a few occasions we were informed NO more beer. On one occasion I asked for a glass of red wine the waiter poured it straight into my empty beer glass. The meals was very repetitive unfortunately on many occasions the eggs were undercooked (omelettes having a runny centre which potentially is a serious health issue) both my Husband and I had upset stomachs. Both of us ate salad and filled cobs for most of our 14 night stay. You had to be up very early to find a sunbed with limited parasols, we ended up using the covered area seating away from the pool. Only having 2 bars one for daytime and the other for evenings meant having to queue sometimes 10 deep waiting for your drinks. There is only A/C in your room and in the main restaurant which became uncomfortably hot. The hotel WI FI was very poor it was consistently dropping out having to reinstall it a number of times during the day. The Al A Carte charge a supplement for many of the choices of meals for an All inclusive is very poor. This hotel is definitely not a 4+ more like a a 2/3 star. Since we returned home from holiday and looked again on Trip Advisor the same complaints about this hotel are consistent and the management seemingly lack of action will not improve this hotel. As a final thought I would suggest that senior management should go and visit a well run 4star hotel to see how it is run.
Last day of a 7 day stay and all I can asy about this hotel is fab fab fab. OK, a little tired in places but ive spent a lot more in other hotels and had far less value for money. Pool area is fantastic, bar area is also excellent. Beautifully designed in general. Friendliness of staff varied but overall good. Special mention to Zakaria who worked in the restaurant. A truly lovely young man. Very attentive, always smiling, This young man certainly added to our enjoyment. In fairness, all the reststaff were excellent. Food is varied but always founded something I was happy with. Great experience overall.
We chose this hotel because it had a lovely large swimming pool, and was a riad so offered authentic style which is what we wanted. The hotel is a really beautiful hotel and the bedrooms are nice and large (balcony on the small side). The restaurants are really lovely, however there wasn’t always a clean fully set up table and sometimes the staff were a little slow to accommodate. It was never an issue when asking for a drink or something that might have been missing off the table, and the staff were always willing to assist but we have been to other hotels where tables were to a high standard at a 4 star hotel. The food was ok and there was choice but again depending on the time of dining there might not be the variety or much left or you would have to ask for them to bring out more food. The main thing to take note of is that we paid extra for All Inclusive Plus but it really isn’t worth the extra cost and if we would have realised we would have just gone All Inclusive. The All Inclusive Plus only gives you an extra 3 drinks and also branded drinks however it does not include Baileys, and the people who were All Inclusive also got the same drinks it seemed so we paid extra for the All Inclusive Plus where people who paid less got the same as us. Also the pool bar restaurant food is not included within the All Inclusive package, and whilst there are nibbles available from 14:30 onwards, the selection was poor and limited. All in all it is a really beautiful hotel and it certainly could be higher but changes would definitely need to be made.
