Amazing hotel, amazing staff!
We are currently staying in the Longue Vie hotel and what an amazing time we are having. We are shocked this hotel isn’t a 5*.
The hotel is immaculately cleaned with the staff working to keep it clean and tidy throughout the day. Everyone is so friendly from the cleaners to the doorman, everyone is so generous and always happy to help.
We had food on the first night at the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel and the beef steak in pepper sauce was one of the nicest steaks I’ve ever had. The staff working on the restaurant day and night are both incredibly attentive and happy to help with whatever you need. Through the day we’ve also tried a couple of the cocktails from here which were also amazing. I’d definitely recommend the passion mojito!
The hotel is situated in a great location with bars and restaurants all near by.
There is a huge selection of breakfast options on a morning and the ladies serving the omelettes and pancakes are both amazing at what they do!
I’d definitely recommend!

Utterly amazing stay at the Longue Vie!⭐️
Amazing hotel! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff were brilliant and made us feel so welcome! Mohamed in the lobby particularly was always great, always making sure that we were happy and that everyone was going smoothly. The kindness of the staff in general was just so nice to see. We loved our stay here, the rooms were clean and the maids were amazing and so helpful. Was a really good price for the quality of this hotel, it could be a five star really! The breakfast was absolutely amazing, a brilliant choice of things to have and again the staff here are a shining example of brilliant hospitality. The rooftop area was a standout too, absolutely beautiful pool area to relax and chill, however the only downside to this area is that children were allowed to run free in this area and really disrupted the atmosphere. IMO the rooftop should be adults only as it’s an inappropriate setting to have children running around . Thankfully we only experienced this once during our stay here and the rest of the time this area was chill and calm with no children ruining the otherwise brilliant vibe up on the rooftop.
However besides this, we had an amazing experience at this hotel and will definitely be back!
Exceptional service inside, but be cautious outside at night
Our stay at the Longue Vie Hotel was made truly special by the wonderful staff. Throughout our visit, the team were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure we had a great experience. They are an absolute credit to the hotel and deserve full praise for their exceptional hospitality. I wish I could remember all of their names but thank you, Zack, in the bar, and Yousseff, who took so much pride and care in making sure every guest’s needs were met. Exemplary!!!
Draft beer would have been nice, but, hey, I'm being too demanding, sorry.
Inside the property, everything felt comfortable and well-run. However, to give an honest account for future guests, it is worth noting that the immediate area surrounding the hotel can look a bit untidy and rough around the edges. On a couple of occasions, when returning later in the evening, we were approached by individuals outside who made us feel a bit uncomfortable and unsafe. I do stress that it was more “perception” of danger as opposed to real harm coming to us – so, please don’t be deterred!! While this is obviously beyond the control of the hotel staff, we would advise future travellers to stay aware of their surroundings when walking back at night, or simply opt for a taxi directly from and to the front entrance. We used Ubers everywhere and they were cheap, super efficient and the drivers were wonderful. Thank goodness, because the traffic is intimidating! There are no rules or CCTV and the moped and scooter riders are as dangerous as the cars. I lost count of the times we walked across a pedestrian crossing past a car that would occasionally stop for us but then having to jump out of the way to avoid being hit by a motorcycle that didn’t stop. Scary!!!
But, we highly commend the team inside for giving us a great customer experience. Every link in the hotel chain was strong – Cleaning staff, bedrooms, Security staff, pool, food (amazing yet very reasonably priced); Reception staff, Dining staff – top drawer!!!
I do have to acknowledge that, being the age we are, our tolerance levels dropped, occasionally, re: two aspects:
1: The Music. Non-stop, soulless, deep house, techno - and often turned up for no reason. Hearing the same songs and the relentless kick drum and snare drove us crazy. But, it is an age thing and we were most definitely in the minority, age-wise.
- Smoking. We just couldn’t understand why people could smoke in the dining area. Having second hand smoke all around us ruined our meal on several occasions. Frustratingly, guests wren’t allowed to smoke by the pool so they would make their way down to smoke amongst the diners. We didn’t quite get that. But, I have to close by saying, this hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are the very best!! That will be the big memory we take away from this Marrakesh holiday.

I fully enjoyed my holiday just thought the pool was a disappointment as you to pool open from 8am
he biggest disappointment for us was the pool opening time. The pool does not open until 11am, which I think is far too late for a hotel in Marrakech, particularly for guests who have booked their stay to relax, sunbathe and enjoy the pool. When you are on a sunshine holiday, you really want to be able to get by the pool from around 9am at the latest. Opening at 11am means you lose the whole morning, and by the time you get settled it is practically lunchtime. It is also not ideal because the hottest part of the day is usually around 12–2pm, which is exactly when many people would prefer not to be lying directly in the sun. An earlier opening time would allow guests to enjoy a few hours by the pool in the morning and then go out for lunch, shopping or sightseeing. For me, the pool should really open around 8:30–9am. If you are booking this hotel mainly for a relaxing pool and sunbathing holiday, the 11am opening time is definitely something to be aware of.

I had the pleasure of enjoying a treatment at the Spa of Longue Vie Hôtel Marrakech with Aziza, and I would really like to congratulate her on her professionalism and the quality of her treatment. Aziza was exceptional: the protocol was perfectly executed, with great gentleness, attention to detail and a truly caring approach. Everything was done with such professionalism, while still feeling warm and personal. As a hotel professional myself, I am particularly attentive to service standards and the overall guest experience. I have to say that I was absolutely delighted. I left feeling genuinely relaxed, peaceful and completely refreshed — exactly what a spa experience should be. Thank you, Aziza, for such a wonderful moment.
