Worst hotel I’ve ever been dirty rooms and rude staff
Worst experience we’ve ever had
We are uk residents on holiday in Morocco
Firstly we booked Hotel club al Moggar garden beach 8 months ago, we got told 11 days before the flight that it was being refurbished and got anezi tower as an alternative we came on Tuesday
The fridges do not work we waited 3 days for a fridge my daughters milk was rotten every day we had to buy new milk they told us 3 times they’re bringing a new fridge and on the 4th day they finally brought it after complaining again and buying milk everyday
The towels they take and do not change and when they change they give us dirty ones, the bedding does not get changed and when it does it’s dirty
The worst part is my daughter cut her finger in the breakfast room on a broken plate, she’s 2 years old baby and it’s a very deep cut as a father I was worried, we rushed to the reception to ask for a first aid kit they said they didn’t have, we asked for a doctor they said the doctor is on the way, we waiting 1 hour no doctor so we went to the pharmacy and bought bandages, antiseptic cream and plasters, we came back to the hotel to ask for scissors at the reception they said they don’t have any, at this point I was very angry, there’s no health and safety at this hotel, not Evan a first aid kit, and at this point we’re still waiting for the doctor to come, we waited 6/7 hours for a doctor no one came we asked the reception and they said doctors coming tomorrow, i asked her why did you say they coming today and she lied to my face and said I told her I was calling one myself? I’m in another country I don’t know how to call anyone my first protocol is to ask the main desk she lied and said the doctor is coming when there was none on site, I had to go upstairs to get my daughter her pram to take her to a hospital to realise none of the elevators work I walked up 9 floors carrying my baby to get her pram and 9 floor back down holding my baby and the pram I asked for her name she wouldn’t show me her name tag hence why I had to take the photo of her she was rude! She lied! And she laughed when I said I’ve waited 7 hours a for a doctor!
SERIOUS INJURY & MISCONDUCT
My 2 year old niece was walking in the hotel breakfast quarters and tripped whilst holding a plate which broke and caused a deep laceration to her hand. Staff member Fatima said the hotel doctor has been contacted and she is on the way, some time after I requested an update of the doctors eta to be told by Fatima that she now has no memory of the incident nor the request for medical attention despite the screaming of a child and the blood. I subsequently took her to the children’s hospital to which she now requires stitches. The hotel staff laughed in my face at my pain and that is something I will never forgive. Horrible place and even worse staff. Not to mention no fridge for my child’s milk after requesting for 4 days, dirty brown stained towels given to us labelled as clean, dirty kettles, dirty stained headboards, mud stains on the floor after being told it’s just been cleaned, dirty pools and much more. I’ve since wrote a formal complaint to which I’ve not received a response and am now pursuing to speak with an ombudsman/governing body. When I asked the staff for their names they removed their name tags and hid them. Avoid this place even if it’s the last place on earth. More pictures and videos available upon request. I have since booked another hotel as the service was that bad costing me £900 for the remaining 4 nights of my family’s holiday.
Take an extension lead!!
So this is going to be an honest review as this was not the hotel that we booked to stay in. Our original booking was for Al Moggar where we have stayed many times but it has now been closed for major renovations so were were moved to Anezi Towers through Love Holidays. Arrival and check in was quick and painless apart from our first room only had two beds and we were a party of three adults - this was quickly changed. The rooms are very dated and nothing like the pictures shown and there are only two sockets in the whole room one for the TV and the other which was behind the third bed - lucky for us we did take an extension lead but this had to be plugged into the TV socket - as this was closet to the mirror, there are none in the bathroom or anywhere else in the room (we made it work) We only booked B&B the selection for breakfast was OK there was plenty of Cheese, meats & bread, there was also hot dishes including boiled eggs and omelettes made while you waited - we didnt go hungry lets just say that Receptioln area is the only picture in the photos that I would say still looks the same today the staff were very helpful and friendly along with all the other staff Housekeeping was good we were booked for 6 nights and the towels were changed every two days which was fine but sometimes we only got 2 towels instead of three beds were changed every two days as well The pool area does look like the pictures bar the sun beds and it was well kept and clean but there were plenty of sunbeds however the poolside bar/cafe was just organised chaos they never had any change so it was easier to pay by card the food was good though quiet a lot of variety from salads to burgers etc The location of the Hotel is good as long as you dont mind walking down 95 steps (yes we did count them) and back up again - there is a gate which gets you out a bit closer but only takes about 10 steps away!! but once you are down on the prom there are plenty of cafe bars restaurants and shops. The noise level was good nothing kept us awake and the general noise from other guests was never a problem Bear in mind as we found out only the first four floors have balconies we were on 6th floor and just found this strange that a holiday hotel didnt have balconies There was a good atmosphere around the hotel and pool, there is an amination team but I must say the entertainment seemed a bit childish at times I would say that I got value for money but would I stay again probably not

Friendly, lovely views and good value for money
Perfect location. Staff so friendly from the bar man to front of house reception staff and animation team all couldn’t do enough for us. Pool area and hotel reception lovely and clean. Yes the rooms are dated we booked a standard double room without balcony got given a block C apartment partial sea view. Apartment was clean cleaners in with fresh towels daily. Value for money for sure - I will definitely stay here again. Don’t listen to the reviews - if you want a clean room on a budget friendly staff with a nice atmosphere this is the place - if you want new upgraded hotel with more amenities pay more for a different hotel.
Slight improvement
A slight improvement from that last time I stayed here ,more choice in breakfast rooms kinda still the same faulty this that and the other, a budget hotel , staff generally friendly
