On the plus side, the hotel is walking distance from the beach (10-15 minutes walk) and close to restaurants and other amenities. The spa is very good, there's varied entertainment in the evenings and the bars on site are pleasant.
The staff are generally pleasant and helpful and the atmosphere is positive.
The rooms are OK at the price. The double beds are comfortable (if you like a fairly firm bed) and spacious. In six days the shower was never more than lukewarm, and the some of the towels were slightly off-white in colour. Sometimes there was a smell from the toilet, which suggests there might be an issue with the plumbing. We paid extra for a safe, but were unable to get it to work. When we asked reception they said they would send someone to help, but never did. For the first two days of our stay the wifi did not work anywhere in the hotel and we decided to purchase e-sims from the nearby mini-market. Our room was on the ground floor at the back of the hotel, and we heard a lot of noise from outside entertainment in neighbouring establishments, especially at night. During the day there was building work and loud drilling outside our room and the glass patio doors offered no protection from the noise. We were pestered by mosquitoes most of the time, despite the doors remaining closed. We didn't try the aircon because the room did not get hot, even in August.
We had breakfast included. The food was bland and the same every day. The restaurant became very crowded after 9am and it was advisable to eat earlier. In the rooms a few tea bags were provided for the first day, but no more after that.
We didn't use the pool, which looked a bit murky at times. The pool area seemed to be quite safe and life guards paid professional attention to the guests' conduct.
The standard of cleanliness in the hotel is generally OK. On the day we arrived check-in was supposed to be at 4pm, but we had to wait until 5. Even then, our designated room wasn't ready, and they gave us another one.
The hotel advertises excursions, but those available are a bit expensive. It is better to use the Get Your Guide app, which also offers a greater variety of excursions.
Overall, although the the hotel is advertised as 4 star, it's more like a 3 star with some extra amenites, primarily the spa.
We had wonderful experience exceeded all my expectations alot of facilities good sized pool spa gym kept me very relaxed and busy with activities. The staff were spot on very helpful won't forget the night shift security guard at reception very nice guy always greeted everyone with a warm smile good to talk to. Wonderful experience especially 1 of the managers on the late shift tall young handsome guy think his name was Zakaria very nice man made sure always asked us if we needed anything and made our stay more comfortable. A good place for families the rooms were very clean and had everything we needed and I definitely won't forget the mattresses were of a very good quality premium quality. 10 out 10 definitely coming here again. Thanks again to all the staff who made our stay extra wonderful.
I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, the rooms are comfortable, and the service is excellent. I truly enjoyed every moment of my stay and would definitely recommend it. I can’t wait to come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Hotel Argana for the first time as a family during our trip to Agadir, and from the very beginning to the end, we truly cherished every single moment of our stay.
The hotel itself is beautiful, but what made it even more special was the warmth and kindness of the staff. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, which made us feel right at home.
A very special mention goes to Karima, whose radiant smile, genuine kindness, and bubbly personality made our stay unforgettable. She was so lovely and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her care and positivity truly touched our hearts. We send her lots of love and wish her all the very best for her future, she is truly a gem ❤️
The restaurant was often very busy, yet the waiters handled everything with such professionalism and grace. Despite how much they had to manage, they remained friendly, attentive, and hardworking at all times, which we deeply appreciated.
Overall, our experience at Hotel Argana was nothing short of amazing. It was a beautiful family trip filled with warmth, comfort, and wonderful memories. We will definitely be choosing Hotel Argana again when we return to Agadir, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and memorable stay.
A heartfelt 5 stars for our wonderful cleaner, Najat. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
From the moment we saw our beautifully cleaned room each day, we could see how much care, pride and attention to detail Najat puts into her work. Everything was always spotless, fresh and beautifully presented, but it was the little touches that truly made us smile.
I especially loved the artistic patterns she created each day with the throws on the bed. They were so creative, clever and beautifully arranged, such a simple thing, but it brought so much warmth and joy to our room. 🌸
Najat, thank you for making our stay feel extra special. Your hard work and kindness did not go unnoticed, and we feel very lucky to have had you looking after our room during our holiday.
We sincerely wish you all the happiness, success and a bright future that you deserve. Keep smiling and keep sharing your wonderful touch wherever you go. ❤️
Hopefully, when we return to Agadir in the future, we will be lucky enough to see you again.
With lots of love and warmest wishes, Nazia & Family from the UK 🇬🇧❤️
