We ignored the bad reviews before booking, thinking people were just being dramatic. We were completely wrong—the complaints are spot-on. The only positives are the great location and the nice garden grounds, which is the only reason I’m giving 2 stars. Everything else was a nightmare: Rooms: We had to change rooms twice. The first was full of cockroaches, and the second only had 3 beds for the 4 of us! Had to argue with reception for 20 minutes to fix it. Rooms are outdated and dirty with stained towels. Bedding is just a paper-thin sheet with a scratchy wool blanket over it that definitely doesn't get washed. Food: Completely bland. The buffet choices are poor (picky eaters will starve), and the desserts are tiny bite-sized pieces they never restock—if you aren't first in line, you get nothing. Wait times at the snack bar were easily 45+ minutes. Layout & Vibe: Nothing happens on the Tamlelt side, so it's only good if you want dead silence. Everything (karaoke, ping pong, football, music, henna) plus the only 2 working bars are way over on the Caribbean Village side. It's a massive trek just to grab a drink. Pools: They shut strictly at 7 PM, which is way too early. Save your money and book somewhere else.
PLEASE DON’T MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE AND IGNORED REVIEWS AND HOPED FOR THE BEST. THE BEST WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND! Save more money and pay more for elsewhere. The entire hotel is substandard and falling apart: from the rooms to the food, cleanliness, to customer service, to upkeep of facilities etc. The list is endless! We all had the runs and couldn’t shake off consistent smell of urine in our bedroom. Only positives are my kids enjoy swimming so they spent most time in the pool and the cleaning staff and some restaurant staff are nice and helpful! But please for your sake and the kids if you have any, think twice because you’ll get LESS than what you paid for.
This complex was realy bad. Food was not good at all could only get a hot drink on a morning. Rooms where bad we was told we could get air conitioning no chance they where insultive about this and a few other things. We had grown ups running around at two in the morning reported this they said they had not heard this there office was 50 feet away kids ramming a trolley at the lift nothing done. The day before we returned some one had put towels on the tables to save them a woman moved one and that night it was her against against morrocans and other culture ganges of lads where turning up we moved the Grandchildren to safety and complained. Even the staff went against this womantook the table of her and they call us racist. To end it all we are all home with sickness and diarrhea. I would class this has a one star we was told three star
Dont come to this hotel watered down drinks cockroaches in rooms stained towels and food nothing eatable had to eat out everyday. My wife is disable only one toilet but disable lift not working had to walk about 150 yards around hotel to find it is not a disable toilet just a large room with toilet and no lock on door. We left 10 08 26.
Wow, where to start? The room was filthy, floors had bits of chewing gum stuck everywhere, hairs everywhere. No aircon, no WIFI in the rooms. The beds/sheets were stained & had holes in them. I had to clean the shelves to put my clothes etc on the, they hadn't being cleaned in a very long time. Curtains where disgusting. Balcony was destroyed in bird feces. The bathroom & especially the toilet was disgusting :( The shower didn't work properly. The sink keep blocking & took ages to drain. The tap & shower head was so old & manky. I had to purchase towels in the shop because the towels were out dated, stained & even had holes. Everything in the room was dirty, walls, switches & the light fixtures were hanging from the wall. No mini fridge & WIFI only worked at reception !! The tv was a big tv from the 90's. That was filthy too. with 1 English channel of around 6 or 7 channels. The Restaurant: Every table & chair we sat on was dirty & sticky. Couldn't get delf, had to approach staff to get some. I had to clean the delf every time! The food was slop, reheated & always cold. Pasta came out in big storage containers & re-heated on a frying pan!!! Q's for everything. No water in the restaurant. The soft drinks were warm!!! We used little paper cups. I just bought water in the shop. After 2 days of trying the food we had our main meals outside of the hotel like so many others. Every one complained about the food, it was disgusting. The Pools: this was the only reason we manged to enjoy anything about the hotel. Plenty of pools. Pool areas were not that clean, cigarette butts, plastic cups & papers around but my son & I enjoyed the swimming. Positives: The staff were nice & the pools were nice. The beach/pier: a 10 minute walk away which was amazing, people were friendly. Water park was only 15 minutes in a taxi away. We went twice, it was amazing. The toilets beside 1 of the pools had human feces all over the floor!!! It was a family orientated hotel so there was noise at night but that didn't bother us at all. Definitely not worth the money.
Atmosphere was good & staff were friendly.
We will never go back there again & I cant honestly recommend the place to anyone.
