Our experience at Princess Mangrove 2026
Ok so we came to the Resort to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Great choice! We had a Overwater Bungalow for 5 days. This included Platinum level & Butler service. The Bungalow was very very nice. Great view, clean, comfortable bed & stocked bar & fridge. The outdoor private pool was clean and had lights after sunset. There were a few gnats but no mosquitoes. Our Butlers Jermaine, Ricardo & Jermone had to be some of the best. Hospitality professionalism at a high level. Always there when we needed but never hovering. The amount of experience & information these Gentlemen have readily available is beyond helpful. The food at the resort was really good. We had Platinum level service which included breakfast lunch & dinner. For breakfast we found we preferred the adult only side buffet the best. Huge buffet with omelet station & wonderful staff. No omelet station in Platinum lounge. Dinner at the Platinum lounge was good and more intimate than other restaurants. For a more lively evening make reservations at other restaurants. We also had dinner at the seafood restaurant Pearl. This was my favorite. Pearl had the best water. Coldest chilled water in the resort. I asked staff about it. She explained her process. She took pride in the water. Steak & shrimp was excellent. Mussels & soup was good. Order a Old Fashioned here. Bartender did it right. Japanese restaurant Hibachi show was fun. Food & cocktails were good. The beach....the sand is soft. The chairs, loungers, day beds & cabanas all comfortable and in good condition. Getting into the water is tough because its rocky. Very rocky. Like don't run into the water rocky. Take your time. But the pools make up for it. So many nice pools with fun entertainment & super cool bartenders I forgot about the rocks. And this resort serves real alcohol. No watered down fake booze here. Drink responsibly. We made our way over to the family side for the food trucks & night time shows at the Moonlight Theater. Food truck jerk chicken decent. Shows at the theater at night are a big deal. Show up early to get a good seat. My advice...make dinner reservations at 7pm finish eating and head to Moonlight. If you're itching to leave the resort for some jerk chicken like JERK chicken! Head over to Biggas! It's 5 minutes away. Worth it. The resort is only about 90 minutes from Montego Bay Airport depending on traffic. Over all this was a grand time. Excellent service from staff. Wonderfully dressed resorts guests also. People really came out to look good from breakfast to dinner time. I like it. We will return.
Ask for Roy and Kadane You will not be disappointed
I am writing to share my feedback regarding my recent stay at the Princess Senses Adults Only resort, where I celebrated my birthday.
I have visited Jamaica at least seven times, and this was by far my best experience. My butlers, Roy and Kadane, made the trip truly memorable. In my past experiences, you only meet your butler on the first day and must reach out whenever you need something. This experience was the exact opposite. Roy and Kadane were present the entire time, communicated multiple times daily, and went above and beyond to exceed all of my expectations. I highly recommend that future guests request them by name.
Additionally, the rooms were clean, the food at the restaurants was amazing, and I highly recommend the swim-up rooms.
Relaxing fun and superb personalized service
Had an excellent long weekend stay with some friends celebrating a birthday. The location is a little secluded, but perfect to make you feel like you’re escaping normal life. The rooms were fantastic. The suites included a large living room space, perfect to host some friends without everyone sitting on beds. But the best part of my stay was the butler service! Michael-Lee and Brian made sure that my friends and I were never hungry, thirsty, or in need of anything. Between handling room service orders, making dinner reservations (on and off site), bringing drinks to the swim out pool suites, making sure our bags and transportation were secure, they were busy for us! And did everything with smiles and such positive energy! Loved it!
Relaxing Solo Stay
This was my second time staying at the resort, I was there a few months ago for a wedding. Both experiences were wonderful, I really enjoyed myself. The gym is out of this world- perhaps one of the nicest I have ever had while traveling (and I am a bit of a snob when it comes to workout spaces). I would like to specifically shout out a member of the bellman team, Gavin, who made my solo experience much more comfortable. He recognized me as a returning guest and went out of his way to provide a friendly and welcoming experience, checking in with me any time we passed to make sure I was enjoying my stay and seeing if I needed anything at all. He is top notch- definitely request him for check in/out if you can!
I will be back in the future and am very much looking forward to my next stay!
