Hideaway at Royalton Saint Lucia

Our stay at Royalton Hideaway St. Lucia was okay overall, but unfortunately, it did not fully meet the expectations we had for a resort associated with the Royalton and Marriott brands. While there were several enjoyable aspects of our vacation, a number of issues throughout our stay affected our overall experience. Our concerns began immediately with check-in, which was hectic, confusing, and disorganized. There did not seem to be a clear process for determining who was next or what information guests needed to receive. After traveling all day, we found ourselves having to compete for attention simply to get checked in. Important information about the resort and our stay was also not clearly communicated. We also had concerns with the condition of our room, maintenance throughout the resort, restaurant facilities, and room service. The property could benefit from significant updating and renovations. Additionally, better lighting is needed in several areas of the resort. Some walkways and common areas were extremely dark at night, making it difficult to see and navigate safely. Our first night, we ordered room service and received a call stating that our food would arrive within 45 minutes. Unfortunately, our order never arrived. After a long day of traveling, this was particularly frustrating. We also reserved a private room at the steakhouse for our party of 14. The food was delicious; however, the room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. It became so hot that I became physically ill from the heat, which significantly affected what should have been an enjoyable dinner with our group. Unfortunately, check-out was also a difficult process. We had a resort credit that we ultimately were unable to use because the process for redeeming it had never been clearly explained. At check-out, we were told that we should have notified the resort about the credit when we checked in. However, given how hectic and discombobulated the check-in process was, this was never clearly communicated to us. Learning this as we were leaving was particularly frustrating because there was no longer an opportunity to use a benefit that was included with our reservation. Resort credits and instructions for using them should be clearly explained to guests upon arrival. Despite these concerns, there were several positives. The resort grounds are beautiful, and the landscaping was consistently well maintained. We regularly saw staff caring for the grounds and keeping the outdoor areas attractive. The food was also very good for an all-inclusive resort, and we enjoyed several of our meals. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and pleasant, and several individuals deserve special recognition. Rufina provided exceptional service and was truly one of the highlights of our stay. Her warmth, attentiveness, and hospitality were greatly appreciated. Anastacie, our bartender, was also incredibly friendly and provided wonderful service. A very special shout-out also goes to Christina at the spa. She was absolutely wonderful! I had both a facial and a massage, and Christina did an exceptional job with both. The facial was relaxing and refreshing, and the massage was exactly what I needed during vacation. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and calming presence made my spa experience one of the highlights of my stay. If you visit the spa, I highly recommend asking for Christina! Overall, Royalton Hideaway St. Lucia is situated on beautiful grounds and has a lot of potential, but our experience was inconsistent. Improvements to the rooms and facilities, maintenance, lighting, room service, and especially the check-in and check-out processes and communication regarding guest benefits would greatly enhance the guest experience. We truly appreciated the wonderful staff members—including Rufina, Anastacie, and Christina—who went above and beyond and helped make our stay more enjoyable.

Leave me breathless. This is the hideaway spot! Private beach paradise with phenomenal services. Shout out to all of the lovely people that took care of us, Darnell and Nikitta, our Butlers, however by the end felt like family making the experience truly special. Everything we needed, they showed up and always delivered. Cheers to Suzanne, our lobby hostess, absolutely dynamite making our mornings. Don’t forget Shana who took care of us at the cabana’s always making sure we are on point. The staff, the hotel, the island and everything they had to offer regarding excursions, live entertainment line-up was excellent. Your gym, I tore that up too and it was so good! The spa,Christine was my masseuse, I feel like a new woman. Look, overall this was an experience of a lifetime and I would absolutely do it again. These guys deserve all the love! 10/10 will be back me and my three girlfriends had a fabulous time here from arrival to zidi (a staff member ) the food was fabulous the service-chefs kiss 😘 place, pools atmosphere beach was all kept clean. Staff always walking around and friendly the butler service is %100 way to go I can't wait to go back I'm not gonna stay anywhere else I'm am bringing my family
