We had an amazing stay. Hotel is beautiful. Amazing sunset views from the hotel, don’t need to go anywhere else. Some other hotels we looked at don’t face west so would not have gotten sunset views. Breakfast was very good. So many options. Staff very friendly. Room was big with great balcony. It is away from the old city. The number 4 bus goes from in front of the hotel to the old city. It runs every 15 minutes and is extremely convenient and inexpensive. It take 10-15 minutes each way. We got the 3 day Dubrovnik pass so all bus rides were included. Would definitely recommend
I have just returned from a fantastic stay at this hotel. I stayed in 301 which was clean and very spacious with spectacular views of the sea. The rest of the hotel is also very spacious, clean and upscale. The pool areas and the spa facilities are great and pool sizes substantial. The buffet food is large and being a vegetarian Chef Giorgio and Chef Rumulo from the restaurant on the 7th floor, went out of their way to provide me with specially prepared dishes and they did this very happily-very good.
The sea is lovely and refreshing but it's not a traditional sandy beach or suitable for children. There are lots of boulders in the sea so swimming shoes are needed.
There are lots of steps at this property outside so those with mobility issues may find it particularly difficult.
All in all, a wonderful stay.I would definitely stay again if coming with adults.
Fantastic hotel! Stunning setting and public spaces, both inside and out. every room features a large terrace with gorgeous sea view. Terrace even has a retractable awning. Our room and bath were beautiful and functional: great lighting, outlets by the bed, lots of mirrors, excellent bed. Could have used better luggage space, but that’s minor. Breakfast included everything one could want. The main pool is large enough to swim laps. If you prefer, there’s also a top-notch indoor pool. Rare for a hotel to offer such great pools. There are shady walking trails in the adjacent park, and a city bus takes you to the old town. We really enjoyed this hotel and could have stayed longer.
We booked this holiday for my Bday, from the start it was amazing, room, food everything was just great. Even got a Bday cake from the hotel! Now this is where the problem starts, made some great friends during our stay and decided to share my Bday cake that the hotel gave me. Staff at the pool bar informed us we are not allowed to bring any food to the bar, pointing out that there were no signs informing us, and that the cake was indeed a present from the hotel! The bar staff need to learn a lot more about customer services and the cake was left on the table where we sat, talk about spoiling an amazing weekend!!!
Already second summer in a row that I have been Dubrovnik Palace hotel guest on and off, actually using every free timeframe to come back. I think there is no need to underline the beach position, quality of service and private experience it gives you in such a crowded part of Croatia. That is clear. What I actually value the most is the fact I felt home there, because of such a tentative hotel staff. I need to specially mention Mr. Jerko, working at the beach. Never saw a person so helpful, kind and smiled all the time. He remembered me and my boyfriend even from the last year, he was always around when we needed anything, without even mentioning it. I do believe it is enough to say that as a sensitive woman, going out from the sea on a windy day, he immediately noticed I was shaking a bit and handed me a towel in a second. Those small things make me feel taken care of and service like Jerko’s is something that cannot be simply bought by money. It shows the two-sided respect above everything, which is what I would most of all recommend this hotel. If you happen to be around, ask for Jerko and relax - you would be in the safe hands! Thank you, Jerko! We would always come back!
