not recommended for that money you could stay in much better places
Spent one day here and it is definitely not value for money. Cleanliness is not on five star level as there is dirt and dust everywhere especially windows and elevators. We spent a day on the poolside loungers, the flooring is not done well on the poolside and I got a splinter in my foot. To enter sea there are only one point with stairs as it seems the management does not want to have people swimming in the sea. Also while we were chilling on the loungers we noticed one staff member i gues restaurant manager that was walking around and telling local people to get out of the site of guests and that they are not allowed to be on the hotels beach and that seemed really rude to us as they weren't noticable at all nor we minded other people there.
Amazing stay
Had a great stay at Rixos Hotel. The service was outstanding, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Antonio at the Concierge Desk gave us great recommendations and assisted us with booking tours and activities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Definitely a hotel we will come back to again!
The trip that did not happen but still got paid for
Due to a tragedy in my immediate family my whole trip to Dubrovnik was cancelled - in the process I could not cancel multiple reservations I made since a year ago on our 30th anniversary trip to Croatia and Switzerland. Every single operator and hotel understood my situation and cancelled my reservation without charges. Rixos was not like that - they charged me the full rate for all three days of my stay even though I could not make it and could not process anything due to the situation here. Rules are rules but also gives you an insight into the values that this hotel has. Petra Loncar and Mijo Petric got in touch when we did not show up - I explained but they were helpless - so why get in touch in the first place - beats me.

Vacation to swim the Adriatic, hike, see Old City Dubrovnik and fine dining.
So far the best I’ve had throughout Europe or US. Service, food, design and outdoor views are incredible.
