Wonderful hotel for all the family
Our family of nine (six adults and three pre-teens) spent a wonderful week at the Valamar Tirena Hotel. The staff was consistently helpful and plentiful and it was clear that the hotel was excellently managed. The buffet food was good and had plenty of choice for all ages. There is a lovely pool with water slides which kept many of our party happily occupied and, indeed there was entertainment available every evening. The whole hotel was clean and well maintained. We sometimes used the sister hotels on the same campus, but felt that ours was the best for us. We didn’t venture out much but visited Dubrovnic one evening - beautiful, but very crowded on a national holiday. All in all, an excellent holiday for our family with an age spread of almost 70 years.

Fantastic bar service / great hotel
Jovan working at the bar was fantastic , friendly / welcoming and really made our nights as we settled in. Brilliant service. Also Maro world is fantastic for kids !
Wonderful family resort
Brilliant set up for families, great kids club and lovely mix of communal areas to enjoy. Generous and good quality buffet, lots of staff, always very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend
Absolutely wonderful
I am compelled to write this review before we have even left the resort which is a first! The best family holiday we’ve ever had…. So much to do.. for everyone… kids and adults alike. Wonderful hardworking and friendly staff, impressive bedrooms (which I was nervous about)… so comfortable and plenty space and hanging space. Lovely other guests… Facilities of 2 other valomar hotels right next door… not that you need them. Watersports heaven. Amazing Dubrovnik right on your doorstep… highly recommend. My only quarm… stop measuring the wine quantity so exactly! Just fill the glass!!!
Brilliant hotel, wonderful staff!
Amazing hotel! Excellent staff especially Jovan and Manuela at the bar, and Maura in the pool takeaway restaurant. Superb food and drinks, cocktails went down a treat!
