Lying amidst idyllic surrounds, this popular hotel is located at the heart of Amathus just 200 m from the local pebble beach that may be reached by using the hotel underground passageway. Links to the public transport network (bus lines), restaurants, bars and shops as well as the fascinating ruins of the ancient royal city are to be found nearby.
Renovated in 2023, this 4-storey hotel comprises 202 rooms and was recently refurbished to cater for guests' every requirements- business guests as well as holidaying families. Facilities include a vast foyer, a reception desk, a bar, a café, an Internet corner and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant in addition to a hairdresser's salon and a souvenir shop.
The tastefully decorated rooms each come with a bathroom or a walk in shower, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, Internet access, a minibar/ fridge, air conditioning, central heating, a hire safe and a balcony. Guests may opt for a room facing inland, with side-on views or direct views out over the sea.
In the outdoor complex is a pool complex with a poolside snack bar, sun loungers, parasols and bath towels that have been laid out ready for use (complimentary). Further leisure options include a artificial grass tennis court (floodlighting; equipment hire for free) and table tennis, whilst various water sports are on offer on the beach. Darts may be played within the hotel and there is also a sauna to take advantage of(with additional fee). During the summer, the daytime and evening entertainment programmes provide some amusement for guests.
Guests may select their breakfast from an ample buffet; those who opt for an all-inclusive stay may choose between a selection of warm and cold snacks at several times of the day. In addition, those guests wishing to undertake an all-day excursion are offered a lunchbox service.

A really lovely stay. We’d come back!
We’ve just come back from Atlantica Bay and had such a lovely, relaxing break. We were mainly looking for somewhere we could switch off and enjoy some proper downtime, and it was exactly what we needed.
From the moment we arrived, we felt really well looked after. The champagne welcome was a lovely touch, and the staff were so attentive throughout our stay. We honestly don’t think we’ve ever had to wait long for a drink, there always seemed to be someone around checking if we needed anything!
Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice balcony, and the complimentary mini fridge was a great bonus. Everything was replenished daily, which was a really nice touch and made the whole stay feel very easy and hassle-free.
The food was probably one of our biggest surprises. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were consistently really good, and the quality was much closer to what we’d expect from a restaurant than an all-inclusive resort. There was plenty of choice, and we never felt like we were eating the same thing over and over.
The complimentary à la carte dinner was a particular highlight — genuinely one of the best meals we had during the trip. The Sands Beach Bar was another favourite. It was such a great experience, and somewhere we really enjoyed spending time.
We also have to mention Max and Dani from the entertainment team. They were brilliant and brought a great atmosphere to the resort without being over the top. Whether it was daytime activities or the evening entertainment, they always made sure there was something for everyone, while still giving people the option to just sit back and relax.
The location worked really well for us too. The hotel feels nicely away from the hustle and bustle, but Limassol is still easy to get to, around a 30-minute bus journey, so you can have the best of both worlds.
Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and came home feeling properly rested. The combination of the food, service, room, entertainment and relaxed atmosphere made it a holiday we’d happily repeat.

A Perfect Return to Atlantica Bay
This was our fourth visit to Atlantica Bay, and it continues to hold a very special place in our hearts. Our first stay was 26 years ago on our honeymoon, and we returned last year to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. After such wonderful memories, we couldn't resist coming back again twice this year, in April and September.
We are delighted to say that the hotel is every bit as elegant as we remembered. It remains immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, peaceful atmosphere, all you need for the perfect escape for a truly relaxing holiday.
A special mention must go to Rana, the poolside waiter, who was an absolute star throughout our stay. He greeted us every day with a smile and somehow always remembered our first drink of the day before we even had to ask. His friendly and attentive service really made our holiday extra special.
We would also like to thank Max and Dan the poolside entertainment team. They were brilliant, bringing great energy, fun, and laughter to each day.
Another special thank you goes to Lenka and Luiza at the night reception bar. Their friendly and cheerful personalities made every evening enjoyable and memorable.
Overall, we had another fabulous holiday and were reminded once again why we keep returning to Atlantica Bay. The wonderful staff, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional service continue to make this hotel feel like a home away from home.
We are already looking forward to coming back next year.

Amazing time and the staff are very friendly
FABULOUS
Another fabulous week at The Bay! We were here in June and couldn’t resist another cheeky trip. As always the hotel is immaculately clean and well maintained, as are the outside areas and grounds. Lovely welcome late at night with drinks and food available. Beautiful, spacious room with a glorious view. However, all that apart, this hotel is memorable for its wonderful staff. Everyone friendly, welcoming and accommodating, from the cleaning staff to the management. Special mention as ever to Jac and Nishant who are both such lovely charming characters when arriving and leaving. Yiannis, Dean and all the restaurant staff look after us all so well and make sure that everything is tip top. The bar staff are amazing, they are there to get you another drink as soon as you put your glass down! Special mention for the lovely Nela, such a warm friendly young lady. As ever, Nama restaurant didn’t disappoint, service second to none. We had lunch at Sands and that too was amazing. The “pork chop” 🤣 filled the plate and was delicious. Service with a smile there too and a lovely atmosphere. Again the staff go above and beyond. I cannot wax lyrical enough about this superb hotel and can’t wait to return. One thing I have to mention is that very few people actually make the effort to dress up for dinner which is a great shame and disservice to this beautiful hotel. I know you’re on holiday but still it’s lovely to show respect for all that they do. Almost forgot! Love how the gorgeous cats and kittens are cared for here. 🐈⬛ See you next year!

Wonderful hotel /Beware late check out
We loved this hotel so much the food was the best The staff were all friendly and amazing service . Hotel was spotless. We had some good evening entertainment singers ect. We did not enjoy the theatre nights and the dancing night . Definitely not our thing . Oh and the film night . well we do that every night when we are at home . I found the daytime entertainment to be quite annoying sometimes to loud shouting . The music could be annoying during the daytime .Especially when you were playing music thst you would have for kids entertain.It’s an all adults hotel we definitely don’t want that . My biggest issue with this hotel was the recent refurb in the bedrooms . No mirrors above the dressing table . I had to dry my hair sat on the floor in a small corridor next to the waredrobes. This needs addressing. I am 55 and had a recent back operation . .This was not ideal and made it extremely difficult to get ready each evening . This needs addressing . . We kept our room on until 6 pm because we had a late flight . I don’t mind paying to keep my room on for comfort and to enjoy our last days holiday . I was shocked how much you were charging £140 euros . To be honest I found that extortionate. Other 5 x hotels in Cyprus charged us this year 80 euros . We decided to pay it so it did not ruin our last day . To find the cleaner had not even bothered to clean our room . Please tell me how this then equates to 140 euros? what exactly are we paying for ? .I was disappointed and felt totally fipped off We have never been charged so much before . I am addressing this to management for a partial refund for the room not being cleaned . Apart from these issues we had a fabulous time and would definitely return . When you book your flights beware of the late room check out cost .
