Amarande Hotel

We treated ourselves ti a little staycation at the Amarande for 3 nights. We live in Cyprus and, being a travel agent have stayed in many hotels on the island. The Amarande is a truly lovely hotel and its five stars are well deserved. It’s classy and yet unpretentious which makes it a very comfortable place to stay. It all seems to operate very smoothly and the highlights are the fabulous breakfast and staff who genuinely enjoy working there it seems. The hotel obviously has good management as everyone seems to be very motivated from the front desk to the lovely lady who makes the eggs in the who always has a smile! Comfortable beds, great showers, clean, well kept rooms and a lovely pool area. I would go back. A 15 minute walk to the livelier area of Ayia Napa which was a godsend and a lovely little beach close by great for swimming. The rooms have incredible soundproofing and we didn’t hear a thing although the hotel was full.

I don’t even know where to begin with this review, only been home a few days and we are looking to rebook.

WOW Amarande, you really are the jewel in the crown & we can understand why you are rated number 1!

On arrival we were greeted with the most refreshing cold towels and a lovely homemade lemonade.

We stayed in room 306 which was a sea view room, the slick control panels and marble everywhere made for a very lovely place to relax on our trip. The hotel had left a card and a bottle of fizz along with a fruit plate for us as a treat, this was such a lovely touch and really set the tone for things to come.

There are bathrobes and slippers in the room which I love and again just shows what a place this is!

The air-con in the room was also brilliant, and the Chopard toiletries smelt incredible.

Now onto the most incredible staff… we have never visited a hotel where EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF STAFF is smiley, happy and clearly takes such pride in what they do. Every interaction was to check if we were having a great time, was there anything we needed etc.

Every meal my chair was pulled out for me and the service was just outstanding.

The whole hotel area is stunning from the moment you arrive you feel the luxury, spotlessly clean and so well maintained.

Andreas at breakfast every morning was the best Maître d' always happy and smiley and asked us every morning how our stay was.

The surrounding areas of the hotel are plentiful and the beaches, absolutely stunning.

The pool itself is a wonderful size, and the call button on your parasol was responded too in less than one minute when pressed! Impressive service to say the least. There is a DJ who plays around the pool on Wednesdays & Saturdays this just made the whole vibe incredible, there’s also music round the pool all day which we loved it just makes for a great atmosphere.

We booked to dine in at the Ezra fine dining restaurant and it was outstanding! The food and service were impeccable, and as hotel guests we received a lovely discount too.

Every evening the buffet had a vast selection and was always so much choice no matter your dietary requirements.

Takis bar was phenomenal and the cocktails were so so good!

I’d also like to give very special mentions to the beautiful Manager Ms Maria, and the beautiful Ioana on Guest Relations for ensuring everything was just perfect, and for comforting me when it was time to leave 😭😢 we were even presented traditional Cypriot sweets when we left.

The hotel decor is stunning just total luxury throughout.

If you are looking for a 5⭐️adults only getaway make this top of your list, in fact look NO further!

We don’t often visit the same hotel twice but we cannot wait to come and stay again.

To all of the staff who make Amarande the most amazing place, thank you all so much.

If we had to give any feedback at all it would be to add a rooftop bar at the hotel, and as guests we literally wouldn’t need to leave the premises!
