Recently refurbished air-conditioned/heated en suite rooms have a balcony and feature satellite TV with English video channel, music system, telephone, hairdryer, safe#, iron and board#, use of empty minibar, FREE Wi-Fi, beach towels and tea/coffee making facilities. Side Seaview and Seaview rooms are available at a supplement.

The Local Area
The Cavo Maris is a popular hotel, located in a beautiful, unspoiled, seafront location in Protaras, amongst extensive grass lawns and beautiful gardens which run down to a safe beach with fine golden sand and crystal clear sea water, awarded the blue flag. Within 2 minutes walk, there are 2 more secluded beautiful beaches. The Famous 'Fig Tree Bay' beach, at the Resort centre, is about 1.5 km down the road (15 minutes walk). A local bus service is available to the centre of Protaras (1.5 km) and Paralimni, the biggest town of the area (9 km), or to the nearby bustling resort of Ayia Napa (9 km). Larnaca International Airport is about 59 km away.

Excellent hotel, very clean, with a great atmosphere and outstanding service.
Great family hotel, beautiful location and safe for celiacs that need gluten free food.
Perfect hotel in the perfect location. Beautiful setting, you can chose to swim in the sea or swimming pool using the sunbed loungers at the hotel. We also got sunbeds at any time of day and we were a group 7. You can also rent 2 sunbeds & a parasol on the beach for 10euros (yes 10euros in total). . I have celiac disease and tbh I was quite concerned about how many times I may get poisoned in this holiday, I’m pleased to say it didn’t happen. The hotel is within a 10 minute walk of boat trips / snorkelling trips. Short uber from Protaras strip where there was many restaurants to chose from that offered gluten free options. We stayed bed & breakfast. I had the best breakfast every morning freshly cooked by head chef Georgia straight from the kitchen. She made me omelette, mushrooms, tomatoes & a plate of gluten free pancakes, cake etc. each morning. Probably the best GF breakfast any hotel has ever provided me, so a special thanks to Georgia. Also thank you for the staff serving drinks especially Kimi, she was very good with our granddaughter.

Beating location
Beautiful location, clear amazing sea, hospitality on very good level. I recommend for family because also have few swimming pools for babies and children but the beaches are the ours first choice

We stayed at Cavo Maris Hotel from July 25th to August 1st, which we booked through a Czech travel agency. We asked for a quiet, non-smoking room when booking, and they delivered—a big shoutout to the hotel management for that! The hotel is super close to the sea, though it doesn't have its own private beach. We just relaxed on the hotel's sun loungers right by the beach, only about 30–40 meters from the water, so we were really happy with everything. The hotel room was quite spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping was done regularly and top-notch. The food was really varied, with fish, seafood, and local dishes served every day. Everything tasted delicious! We had no communication issues with the staff at all; any questions or minor misunderstandings were resolved completely hassle-free. All in all, we wanted a high-quality beach vacation in a great hotel, and we got exactly what we came for. This is probably the very first hotel we’d genuinely love to come back to.
Great Hotel
Second visit to this hotel (first in july 2023). Hotel had had a renovation since our last visit and really good improvements to the pool and surrounding area. Love the pool loungers and the jacuzzi for over 18's - lifeguards were great at monitoring this too. Plenty of sunloungers around the grounds - lovely to not have to fight to secure a lounger. Bar staff, both main bar and around the pool, were friendly & helpful. We had the Ultra AI package and the food available at all the restaurant options was amazing - although portions were huge in both the H Taverna and Burger place !!!!
Evening entertainment suited our needs, family of 4 adults, so live music at the main bar was perfect. Rooms were clean and catered for everything we needed. Plenty of plug sockets and draw/wardrobe space. Reception staff were very helpful. We had a late departure and the use of the rooms to be able to change was great.
We like the location of this hotel - walkable to Protaras for an evening stroll (15/20 mins) and easy cab ride to Aiya Napa.
