It wasnt awful, but a lot of improvements needed
It is important that you check people who have added a positive review regarding this hotels, previous contributions. As it is then it becomes clear they are staff at the hotel having contributed to the review chain up to 26 times. Highlighting they are not in fact mere members of the public.
This will be a mixed review, but honest.
If you are on a budget holiday (like us) needing space for older children (apartments) then this may come out as a good option (that's what lead up to this hotel). However, it is important you keep that in mind, and the price throughout the stay, it will make it easier to accept.
The room, we were moved to a nice room, two good sofa beds in the lounge and a very large bed in the main bedroom. Ample space, storage and newer working aircon. The 'cleaner' we use that term lightly, came daily and changed the bins, made the main bed and that is it. No cleaning, no clean sheets for the week (same as home I suppose), no new towels unless requested and no sweep, mop, wipe down of anything. We even had to request more toilet roll. Luckily, I brought some anti bac wipes having read recent reviews. One morning we woke up with no water, not even to flush the toilet, however they did sort in within 3 hours
The 'hotel' again, a term used lightly. The receptionist and managers on the desk were lovely, they moved our room, provided towels for the returnable fee and provided bus times etc.
The food. The BIG DOGS, what looked to be the big management team. were in the food area for a few days. Not that it made a difference. The food is ok, some choice. Only 2 waiters to take drink orders yet 6 waiters to clean tables. Meaning once you have ordered a drink (waiting for this to happen is fun) you are probably not going to get the chance again, so order 2 or 3. The off site restaurants that you can book were nice, lovely 20-minute walk along the seafront. Would recommend booking them as soon as you arrive.
The entertainment. There is none, ok, there is meant to be and two young women in orange tops are visible once or twice throughout the day but they did nothing. Water polo once in the week we were here and darts once. I think they spent most of their time in the kid's club in the air con. I cannot comment on the kid's club though I am afraid.
Location. Is lovely, beautiful beach, great walks and water sports on your doorstep however, the pop-up nightclub next door is extremely loud and does go on until the early hours of the morning. I understand the hotel cannot do anything about this but it did cause me a lot of restless nights. My family slept through it though. The water park next door is fine, keeps the kids busy. The pool was cleaned daily and helps keep you cool. No sunbed wars! Sunbeds available at all times and parasols.
Our stay was ok, they need better cleaners, ones who actually clean. They need more waiting staff for drinks during meal times. They need a better entertainment team, we spent our time traveling the island, snorkelling and doing water sports and the water park. But would have loved some Water aerobics, more water polo and games etc. The rooms need maintaining. The staff are fine, no one goes out of their way to welcome you, or make conversation. No extra mile here, but they are working 12-hour shifts with the BIG DOGS wondering around in their Prade shoes.
I would not recommend unless this is all your budget can afford and you are happy to make do. I would not stay again. If you are reading this after booking, I am sorry, that's what happened to us. We were unable to move hotels and made the most of it. Bring anti bac wipes and hire a car for afew days.

I had a vacetion in marlita hotel and i can say that it was everything fine and perfect .. good very nice and good choiceses service souper resturant bars reseption rooms clean and the best thing see view also big poll manager all the time in hotel any time you can talk with them for anything you need thank you to everyone for sure i will be back

Incredible noise
Warning: incredibly noisy! The hotel is old but has been partially refurbished – at least in Block C, the bathrooms were quite new. The rooms are spacious; the air conditioning is noisy but works well. The food is quite tasty, and there are no queues. The staff is friendly. The hotel’s surroundings are beautiful – the hotel garden practically ends right on the beach. Overall, the hotel is quite alright, although its glory days are long gone – you can see it everywhere. But now for the worst bit: there’s an open-air stage right next to the hotel. Concerts take place almost every day (during our 10-day stay, there were 7 concerts). The concerts last from around 10 pm until 3 or 4 am – you can’t sit outside, you can’t sleep, and you can’t escape the screeching and the bass. I don’t understand how the local council could have allowed this stage in such a location – it’s not the hotel’s fault, but it rules out all hotels within a kilometre’s radius. We came back so exhausted by the noise that I really appreciated the peace and quiet of my own home.
Good food, good location, outdated rooms in the middle of a very noisy area
Let’s start with the good things……perfect location ( close to the sea ), free and enough sunbeds/umbrellas, good food, very friendly staff. Now the bad ones……..the hotel is NOT a four star one, rather 2,5. Strange smell in the room, cockroaches in the bath,very noisy A/C. The receptionist always promised everything but nothing happened at all. The hotel is very vlose to an open-air concert stage, so you can’t sleep untiv 3-4 am.
