Set in a peaceful spot just a short stroll from the beach, Eleni Holiday Resort combines modern comforts with a welcoming atmosphere. Located only a few kilometres from Paphos town centre, the resort is perfectly placed for exploring local attractions while still offering a relaxing base to unwind. Renovated in 2024, the resort offers modern facilities in a Mediterranean-style setting.
The resort features two freshwater swimming pools with a separate children’s pool, surrounded by plenty of space for sunbathing, plus an indoor swimming pool. A pool bar is on hand for refreshing drinks throughout the day. Guests can choose from two restaurants, including buffet-style dining, plus a snack bar for lighter bites. Bars within the hotel provide a welcoming spot to unwind in the evenings.
Facilities include a fitness centre, aerobics and yoga classes, darts, and a spa with a sauna, and massage services. Water sports are available nearby, and a golf course is just a short drive away. Families are well looked after with a kids’ club and entertainment offered up to six times a week, and a playground, while adults can enjoy live music and evening shows.

Needs to sort a few things out.
We went here after reading previous reviews and had mixed feelings.
Pros Hotel is clean, and food is of good quality with plenty of variety.
The pool is large and slopes from one end, there is also a separate pool which is used for volleyball.
Cons We had 3 problems with our room on arrival, all of which were reported, and reported again after 3 days, and again after 6 days, nothing was done, so maintenance is clearly an issue.
One side of the pool is constantly in the shade and there is no space between the sunbeds, the back row of which are pushed up against the ground floor room balconies. The so called beach is rock.
It is not near Paphos and there is nothing in the immediate area to do although the Fat Fig up the road is good.
The vast majority of staff are devoid of any emotion, with the exception of Michealis who had a great sense of humour. The leader of the entertainments team is rude to the extreme and spends his time bragging that he does nothing all day.
Evening entertainment was average at best.
Apart from the local beer the cocktails are very hit and miss, mostly miss with no consistency in the way they are made.
I will leave it there, the choice is yours.

Amazing
We had such an amazing stay at the Eleni Hotel and genuinely had the best time! The hotel had such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and all of the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay
The entertainment was definitely one of the highlights for us There was always a good atmosphere and it made our evenings at the hotel so much more enjoyable A special mention has to go to Lucas from the entertainment team he was absolutely amazing He was so friendly, funny and welcoming, always making the effort to come over and chat to everyone and make sure people were having a good time He really brought such great energy to the hotel and made our stay even more memorable
We’ve had such a lovely holiday and would definitely recommend the Eleni Hotel to anyone visiting Paphos Thank you to everyone at the hotel, and especially Lucas, for making our trip so enjoyable We would definitely come back
Honest Review - Read before booking
As someone who reads a lot of reviews before booking a hotel, I was very disappointed and underwhelmed. I feel an honest review is necessary to highlight some key things which made our stay a disappointing one.
To start I think it should be noted that Eleni Hotel is absolutely NOT a 4* hotel, far from it.
We arrived around 11:30 at night. As a family with a toddler carrying all our bags plus pushchair etc was extremely difficult for my partner. No assistance was given or help offered even when 3 members of staff were stood behind reception watching. No assistance was offered when finding our room either.
Once checked in, we discovered we weren’t given a sea view room (which we’d booked). We decided as it was late to get some sleep and speak to reception in the morning. Before heading to breakfast my partner spoke to reception about the issue with the room. The two ladies on reception were extremely rude and unhelpful. The manager basically laughed in my partners face. We were told we were unable to move rooms as they were fully booked. We’re not the type of people to kick off so left it and thought we’ll deal with it after our holiday.
I think it’s worth mentioning that the majority of sea view rooms are right next to the evening entertainment so if you have young children like we did this may not be the best option as very loud until 11pm.
The shower in our room was filthy and needed some serious TLC.
Food: The buffet is small in comparison to other all inclusive hotel I’ve said in but there was a varied range in dishes. The food itself was tasty and flavourful just a shame that all food was cold - constantly. I would kind of understand if we were going at the end of service but with a little one we were basically the first ones in every time. One plus from my partner was a freshly made omelette in the morning. We ended up eating out 3 times due to poor food. The A/C restaurant is very underwhelming. Small, feels more like a cafe. However the food was tasty and hot.
Drinks: The local beer is nice. However all other drinks are pretty poor both soft and alcoholic drinks. Bottled water in room not refilled so definitely keep or take a water bottle to refill.
Pool: Pool has a large shallow area which was ideal for children. However the pool was extremely dirty with black bits floating everywhere. During our 10 day stay the pool was only cleaned twice.
Sunbeds there are plenty but the left side of the pool is in complete shade most of the day and definitely by 3pm.
Also I think it should be noted that pool towels require a €10 deposit per towel.
Entertainment: The entertainment team is small and the entertainment itself was pretty dire. The entertainment leader was extremely rude and lazy. Spent most of the time sat around vaping or on his phone. The other 2 girls Anastasia and Rihanna were lovely and worked really hard.
The entertainment started too late with nothing to bridge the gap between dinner and the main entertainment.
The so called ‘mini disco’ for children was just some lights had been put out and the same terrible playlist put on every night.
No atmosphere at all. It seemed like they had run out of money for the end of season.
Location: Further out from Paphos than advertised. A €15 taxi to get to the harbour. Around the hotel there isn’t much at all. Not many places to walk out for an evening. This hotel is definitely not on the beach. Access to the beach is much further down the coast.
Overall - lots of improvement needed. Very disappointed as expected better from a so called 4*. We would absolutely return to Cyprus as weather was the biggest positive but would DEFINITELY not return to Eleni hotel.
Family holiday
I had an amazing stay! The hotel is clean well run and has great food and amenities.
A huge highlight for us was the animation team their energy from morning till night was infectious. Special thanks to Anastasiya! She is warm incredibly talented and makes everyone feel special with her vibrant personality.
10/10 for the team and the hotel. We will definitely be back!
