A lovely family holiday destination.
Lovely family holiday. Staff were so kind and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Loved the small and traditional feel of the hotel. Really enjoyed the food, the range wasn’t extensive but what they did, they did very well. I loved having the volleyball pool as an option for the kids. Entertainment team were lovely and my kids both enjoyed the full range of activities. Gym was good, a few machines out of use but that’s always the way, aircon was decent in the gym. Didn’t spend much time in the rooms but they were spacious, clean and air con good. Would recommend
A great hotel, with a great Team!
We just returned late last week form 2 weeks at the Atlantica Akteon. First impressions count and the hotel reception was clean, welcoming and the staff on arrival were helpful and friendly. We arrived in time to eat our evening meal and were not disappointed. The restaurant was clean and the food well prepared and presented with a good choice of food and it was the same every night. Anyone staying here will have a very hard time trying to complain about the food, the variety is excellent, something for all tastes throughout the day at every meal and the food standards were excellent.
Our room (3403) was in an excellent position, one of the few at poolside and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The room itself was well appointed, clean, with a small kitchenette area and excellent air conditioning which was really needed as the Paphos area was seriously hot this year!
The main pool itself (there are smaller childrens pools we didnt use) was a great size, never too busy with activities at some point in the day and always the prefect temperature and again, the pool area was freshly cleaned every day and there was never a competition for sunbeds.
There was varied entertainment as well, something for most people.
I should add that whilst staying at the hotel, I had an accident and seriously injured my arm. The accident occurred away from the hotel and had nothing to do with their facilities.
The staff, the team at the Atlantica Akteon were very attentive, caring and helpful and really looked after me and did their best to make sure my accident didn't effect our family holiday too much.
Of particular note were Ildiko, Theo, Georgia and Stefan and Eva who all showed great kindness and really helped me, they are all a great credit to the hotel.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely fantastic family holiday!
We have just returned from an incredible stay at the Atlantica Akteon as a group of 12, including 4 children, and honestly, we could not fault it. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful, and they genuinely could not do enough for us.
Even with a group of 12, we never struggled to find somewhere for all of us to sit together at dinner, which made such a difference. The food was fantastic too — honestly, one of the best buffet selections we have experienced in a family hotel. There was plenty of choice and something for everyone.
A particular thank you to the staff who went above and beyond when one of our little ones developed an ear infection during the holiday. They were incredibly helpful and even assisted us in getting to a medical centre to get her sorted. It was such a relief to have that support when we were away from home.
We also had two 40th birthdays and another birthday during our stay, and the hotel went the extra mile with some lovely extra touches to help us celebrate. Those little details really made our holiday feel special.
A huge shout-out to Kumar, Bibek and Maxi in the bars — they were both absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. 🍹 And a special mention to the lady in Guest Services, who I believe was called Ildika. She was fantastic — so helpful, friendly and always happy to assist with anything we needed.
We have genuinely had such a brilliant holiday and made some amazing memories. The combination of the lovely hotel, fantastic staff, great food and beautiful Paphos location made this a holiday we will remember for a long time.

A very good stay
A solidly good hotel- well worth a visit!
I am writing this from my sun bed during a 7 night stay here.
Positive's
-Spotlessly clean rooms and pool area
-asking for a sea view room means views to die for at sunset
-Excellent and helpful staff
-Baby pool/ volleyball pool and indoor pool are excellent additions to the large main pool.
-the buffet always has a dish that is consistently excellent with plenty of salad and healthy options to
-evening entertainment is basic but done very well and the kids disco was a lovely touch for our children
Negatives -the location means a long walk or short taxi to the beach -A la carte food not up to scratch and probably not worth a visit (cut in half breakfast rolls for garlic bread and pre made pizza bases. Deserts not up to much)
We wouldn't hesitate to visit again

We had an excellent time at Atlantica Akteon.
The hotel facilities were amazing. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much to ask.
Rooms were clean and well equipped.
Food was absolutely amazing and there were loads of healthy food…along with the bar cafe option.
Entertainment staff was exceptional. Soo much going on for everyone throughout the say. The kids disco is excellent too as well as the pre- disco activities.
There is also a mini mart onsite that literally has everything! Not only that but the prices are not extortionate.
All staff were literally the best. I didn’t get the names of all of them but all were so friendly, helpful and polite. Namely: Prem- the helpful porter who doubled up often as a waiter. Ilkito- probably the best guest services person I have ever met. Marina- the entertainment veteran who showed up daily with passion and joy. Stefan- the friendly waiter.
The pools are well maintained and so clean. Which is always a plus. To see the maintenance guys out every morning cleaning the pools thoroughly.
Views from our hotel rooms was magical. As was the sunset.
Why I couldn’t give it a 5 star rating: The A la Carte restaurant is offered to All inclusive guests as a special night. 1 per stay. It is supposed to be a posh alternative to the buffet. Unfortunately, the food was not as good as the buffet. The mains were okay….but the starters were really disappointing. Breakfast bread rolls cut in half for the garlic bread?….with no garlic?… dessert wasn’t good either. Don’t waste your time. The buffet is excellent.
The doors for each room are really dates and need replacing in my opinion. The wood is old and they dont sit flush. I think all rooms in hotels should also have a lock on the inside so that guests feel safe. Having just the key card on the outside means all with a master key can access the room whenever.
Bedroom phone not working. Which was very annoying as had to always make the walk to reception for anything. I will say however, they were soooo apologetic for it, all the way through the holiday.
Overall, We’ll recommend Atlantica Akteon in a heartbeat. Thanks so much for making our holiday so amazing.
