Aphrodite Hills Hotel by Atlantica

Just been back a week now from our holiday in Cyprus 19th, -26th September. What a fantastic time we had, from the moment we arrived it looked and felt like a 5 star resort. We arrived late at night but were greeted by very enthusiastic staff who done a great job in checking us in and explaining where things were, but after a days travel our bed was calling. Next morning time to see what our room was like and view we had. We had been given an upgrade on booking and stayed in a suite (1129). Although the room was showing signs of being a little tired this didn't spoil it as it was huge. So much space, bath and a massive shower which was fabulous to wash away the travel grime, and bodywash ,shampoo was also included and good quality too. The room was spotless, mini bar provided beer and soft drinks no small wines for the wife abit disappointed but still nice to have. Plenty of wardrobe space and lights when opening so no fumbling around in the dark. So explore and get our bearings off to breakfast. Firstly find the restaurant as we had no clue where we were going but great fun. Seen loads of trip advisor reels so parts seemed familiar already. Found the restaurant several area's to sit in,inside, adults only, outside terrace all well staffed. Food choice was excellent and also the quality, staff also very helpful with the needs of others and clearing away so quickly they all need to be recognised for there hard work. Every day the same standard, well done.
So now find our way about, what a lovely place just to walk around, finding the golf course and just walking along the road for the buggies was a delight. Seeing some of the other rooms with there own pool made us very envious maybe next time Yes there will be a next time... We found the adults only pool and decided this was our area for the week as we just wanted to chill out and relax. BIG shout out to Kameliya who ran the adults bar area , she made our stay even better from our first drink order from our sunbeds she remembered everyone's drinks orders every time. Fantastic lady, always happy and time for a chat, catch up and local knowledge give her a pay rise, what an ambassador she is for your hotel Evening entertainment was great nice back ground music while you had evening drinks the reps show was also very good very brave to do that. Another shout out must go to Melina at the outside adults only terrace bar, another fantastic lady who remembered drink orders and was very attentive to your needs. Didn't wait for long before your drinks were replenished. Another credit. We only managed to have one a la carte meal at the fig and olive, this was fabulous.
Shame we never got to try the other two, over booked and I can see why. The catering staff did an amazing job every day. So to sumerise, would we go back ? YES but for longer and overlooking the golf course. Tui staff on site everyday and very approachable. All staff amazing, can't do enough for you and always happy to help, even the young lady in the gift shop was happy to chat and helpful with local knowledge. Negative's, always some but nothing to spoil our stay. Parts of hotel looked tired, probably waiting for close season for decorating/ maintenance. Sunbeds although we are all adults we still can't follow simple request of no reservation before 9am. Another issue not of the hotels doing but groups of adults having there own pool party, monopolising the bar area's and assume the rest of the hotel want to listen in. None of which were teenagers!. Overall this was a fantastic holiday, from start to finish and we so want to return. Everything we had read and watched about this resort was 100%. If you want 5 star then this is the place for you. You will not be disappointed.
