Had 17 nights at Kapetanios and highly recommended anyone considering visiting. The hotel was lovely and clean and staff were very friendly and always smiling. There was not a huge choice of food, but absolutely plenty of choice and it was delicious (do not be put off by negative reviews on food) We thought it was very nice and we like really good food; we are not junk food eaters. Always three or four meat choices and a great variety of other options. Salad bar delicious and enough dessert choices (even apple pie, bread & butter pudding and custard!) Great to have self service wine in the restaurant. Drinks were good too and a good choice of cocktails. We went out to dine around 6 times on the strip and every restaurant was outstanding. If you consider a boat trip choose Ocean Vision, it was all inclusive and fantastic!! Only negative for the hotel was evening entertainment (a bit cheesy) But for the price we paid this hotel was more than we expected. Thank you Kapetanios... we would definitely return ☀️🍹
We visited as a family of 11 for my father's birthday. We stayed for 10 days and have to say we couldn't fault the place at all. The food was good inc the pool snack bar and the drinks were good also inc cocktails and if they weren't listed they would do them for you. The staff cant do enough for you. There is no fighting for sunbeds either around the pool, water park or facing the beach. Rooms are large and beds comfy. Powerful showers and they are cleaned everyday and towels changed daily too. Stavros the Bar Manager is brilliant, organised everything for my dad's birthday. He made sure we had a table and even got a cake made for him(we didnt ask). Again all the staff were brilliant and a credit to the hotel. Would definitely return
We have recently got back from Kapetanios Aqua resort and we’re really impressed with the hotel and facilities.
We travelled as a family with 2 adults, a 3 year old and 19 month old so were really looking for somewhere we could enjoy without having to leave resort.
The staff at the hotel were very polite and helpful.
The rooms were spacious and clean. We stayed in a studio lateral sea room and it was more than adequate for us.
The cleaners were really thorough throughout our stay and kept the room tidy.
The food was more than adequate. They had themed nights and put on special cuisine dishes plus another few mains. It wasn’t vast and this actually is good as food didn’t sit out for long and was always hot.
The all inclusive drink selection was good. As per most budget resorts, its local alcohol and so cocktails are hit and miss but on the whole it was more than enough.
The swimming pools made this hotel for young families. There was an 80cm deep pool (good for younger ones practicing to swim), the main pool went from 0 depth to 1.5 metres so good for everyone, the splash park was 50cm deep and the lazy river was great. The water was comfortable temperature for all. The water slides were good for older kids and adults. Young ones could sit on laps however.
The evening entertainment was average from what we stayed up for but it’s more than enough for the young ones.
You can go to the strip of bars, restaurants and shops which are 10 minutes walk uphill. We did the Jolly Roger pirate ship and semi submarine boat excursions which were good fun.
All in all a very happy holiday goer who will definitely be returning next year for some more fun in Paphos.
I’ve just come back from a weeks stay here and I can say we throughly enjoyed our stay, we definitely give Sally and Laura credit for a busy resort they are trying their best to make the guests happy, I spoke with the girls and I understand they should be 6 entertainers and they’re just 2 of them. The girls are both lovely girls and I feel with more staff beside them the entertainment would be great. There is one or two bar staff that can be a little rude but the most of the staff are great and welcoming. We would come back and also recommend this hotel in the future. Thankyou kapetanios :)
Just got back from a week here great location sadly the entertainment and bar staff let this place down such a shame
