There's so much to see and do in Paphos. It's one of the essential places to stay in any holiday to Cyprus. And when you stay at the Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel you'll have easy access to the beach, the harbour, the archaeological sites and the great shops too. But as well as all of that, you'll have the amenities of the hotel itself to enjoy and they really are worth writing home about.
For a start, there are three amazing freshwater pools to choose from (as well as an adults Pool, two paddling pools and a heated indoor pool (heated Nov - Apr).
The hotel's Elixir Spa is another highlight. At the Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel every consideration is given to making your stay relaxing and invigorating and nothing invigorates quite like one of their massages – followed by a wonderfully relaxing aromatherapy treatment. (There are 2 waterslides too for those who fancy a different kind of invigorating experience.)
If you fancy a bit of sporty action, you can take your pick from mini golf to bowls to tennis or table tennis. Or you can work up quite an appetite in the hotel gym. It's particularly well-stocked so you can continue your customary exercise regime, or enjoy a bit of a light holiday work-out to burn off a few extra pudding calories! With such a great selection of places to eat, all in the hotel, you'll certainly want to take full advantage. From far Eastern cuisine to local favorites, from a la carte dining to four course meals and the Zephyr adults only a la carte, there’s a menu and a setting for everyone. From the cocktail bar, lounge bar (open to the discretion of Management) rooftop bar ( adult only for Elite class) to the beach bar and adults pool bar to room service, you can choose what, where and when you eat.
It's certainly hard to resist the idea of a little room service now and then, particularly when you return to your room after a busy day. All guests' rooms are spacious and air conditioned for your maximum comfort. And we really do recommend a little light supper or drinks on your private balcony. (Side and full sea view rooms are also available, affording excellent views out over the Mediterranean.)

Honest review, 10 days
Lovely staff and rooms, but not quite what we expected from an Elite stay
We stayed at this hotel for 10 days and overall had a lovely time. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable, and the food was also very enjoyable with a good variety of options.
However, there were a few things that we felt were disappointing, especially considering that we had paid for the Elite package.
Although the hotel is located by the beach, the beach facilities are not included in the all-inclusive deal, which was something we weren’t expecting. We also found it disappointing that the mini fridges in the rooms were not restocked with alcohol, as this was also not included in the package.
The entertainment was another area that could definitely be improved. There was no music playing around the pool and very little daytime entertainment. The activities and exercises advertised by the hotel, as well as the dances, were not really happening during our stay. There was only one daytime entertainment event that we saw.
In the evenings, the entertainment was only around an hour and a half before it was turned off, which felt quite early for a holiday resort. We expected there to be more regular entertainment and activities throughout the day and evening.
Overall, the lovely staff, rooms and food made our stay enjoyable, but we feel the hotel could improve significantly when it comes to entertainment and what is actually included in the Elite package. We would recommend making sure you fully check what is and isn’t included before booking, as some things we assumed were included were actually additional or unavailable.
Excellent Hotel
Writing this from my sun lounger on our last day. We visited this Hotel 3 years ago and so glad we decided to return as the Hotel is as fabulous as we remember. We stayed all inclusive and have been impressed with all the food choices. Particularly enjoyed eating at the Adonis restaurant. Special mention must go to Josef who served us drinks on the grass area each day. Such a lovely polite and friendly man a real asset to the Hotel.
Great holiday!!
We just returned home after a week half board. We have no complaints overall and found the staff welcoming and very friendly. The room was perfect and clean, we were provided a full fridge of drinks upon arrival as a welcome and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and towels for around the pool area. The food was lovely and always a good variety at breakfast and tea. We loved the idea of not having to pay cash or card and you pay this upon check out. The pool area was clean and even though there wasn’t a lot of loungers around the pool area there wasn’t a shortage of loungers on the grassed area. The daytime entertainment staff were friendly but there didn’t seem to be a lot going on during the day and there wasn’t a lot of enthusiasm from them to get people to join in.

Amazing family place and food is amazing staff fantastic. Lovely family time. Animation team is amazing : Leo, Vincent, Sari, Enzo, Salome, Thomas, Aneta, Botta. Just an issue with the schedule of animation, we can’t understand and read. The organisation of sunbeds are not very good, people put their towels for all the day from the morning and leave. The kids club is not well indicated and we don’t have a lot of information.
