On the Southwest Coast of Cyprus is the city of Paphos, the birthplace of Aphrodite - the Goddess of Love and Beauty. Here on this piece of magic land, you will find Mayfair Gardens in the town of Paphos. The Mayfair Gardens provides an excellent standard of accommodation in a friendly and relaxed environment with a range of amenities. Situated in a quiet and beautiful tourist area of Paphos, approximately 10 minutes walk from Kato Paphos harbor, 900 meters from the nearest beach, with an array of taverns, restaurants, cafe's, bars and shops within the vicinity. The Kings Avenue Shopping Mall is only 5 minutes walk away.
All guests staying at Mayfair Gardens have access to the wide range of recreational facilities available at the Mayfair Hotel.
Atmosphere was amazing. Food was delicious.. always with a different theme and different dishes served everyday. A big shout to Giorgos, the Restaurant Manager who guided us on how we can get the most of their restaurants during our stay. And to Damian, one of the entertainment team who, together with his teammates, went around residents to make sure everyone knows about the games/activities being organized.
We went to this hotel as a couple with my daughter son in law and two children. We asked for rooms near each other but they couldn’t accommodate our request . We did however get a low floor as we requested. My room for myself and my husband was two very small single beds pushed together. They were very hard and not comfortable at all . The bathroom was very disappointing. The shower was over a bath so I had to climb into the bath to shower . I am full of arthritis so it was very uncomfortable for me . The glass screen was loose and a safety hazard . Also the cleanliness was a low standard with mouldy tiles . The food was quite nice and a nice variation . The drinks were ok the beers were always flat and the fancy cocktails you had to pay for . The entertainment is very low key, a small disco for children aged up to around 8 followed by a single act . The largest swimming pool was shut twice due to a fecal contamination . This pool was always cloudy and you could never see the bottom . The hotel is situated quite far out from anywhere at least a 30 mins walk . Overall we had a nice time as a Family but I felt I paid too much and expected more than I should for a hotel that’s in need of refurbishment .
V friendly staff whose help knows no bounds. V clean and spacious room. Excellent variety of food with different cuisines every night. Bustling atmosphere and excellent for kids.
Great staff very attentive, good food, nice big clean rooms. Good location only a short walk to town, staff make a very welcoming atmosphere, good value for money.
Firstly I’d like to start with the positives. Friendly staff, good facilities like kids pool etc, life guards are on the ball..didn’t struggle for a sunbed, free parking. The evening entertainment was enjoyable.
We did however find this hotel to far out for our liking and ending up hiring a car which was a lifeline.. 40euros a day and was worth every penny.. walking 20 minutes either way in the blistering heat isn’t fun with young kids. If you like to get about on foot without constant need for taxis and busses this isn’t the hotel for you
Our room was terrible. Tiny balcony in a family room, mouldy damp room, bath was all cracked, wardrobe door was broken. Our tap for the sink was blistering hot with no cold option. All reported to reception with nothing done or offered.
The smell in the food restaurant was like wet dog, absolutely sickening and put me right off my food, the smell around the pool of drains was awful too.
All incl drinks finish at 11pm. The food isn’t great limited choice and lots of pork dishes each night or multiple mushroom dishes etc. we love Cyprus but this an hotel we would avoid in future.
