- Princessa Vera Hotel Apartments

In theheart of the tourist area of Paphos, an apartment complex “Princessa Vera” finds itself in a quiet corner with the beautiful view of the crystal blue sea. Princessa Vera offers a place of relaxation and coolness due to its light colours, green lawn, flower beds and most importantly its welcoming staff. The apartment complex is an example of a modern style hotel. It consists of a roomy hall and 70 rooms of three different categories. Moreover, there are two swimming pools; relaxing area and games area. “Namos” restaurant is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while Harley's bar offers a la carte menu for every taste. A benefit of the hotel is its convenient location in the city, as it is situated in the main tourist street and is accessible to public transportation. Additionally, all the important archaeological sites are within walking distance; such as the Tombs of the King
Location was spot on easy to get to everything . Everyone was so friendly staff were amazing my son hurted him self staff were righht there even next day asked how he was.We were room 327 perfect nice pool view you can see the sea rooms were cleaned every day it was spotless grwat value for money .We were half board breakfast plenty to choose and it was hot dinner to plenty to choose a was there two weeks loved it will be back
We got home yesterday after a wonderful 11 nights here. This was our first holiday in 8 years, so we really wanted it to be special and it was!
We had two rooms (our young adult daughters shared a room) and went for the larger rooms. They were huge! It was such a luxury coming from a small house, and the air con was much needed. One room faced the main road and one faced into the pool area (definitely a quieter and prettier option, not that the kids cared).
We spent plenty of days around the pools and were able to get loungers, but also had a few days out. We used the buses a lot which were great and also did a day trip up to the mountains. That was fantastic too, we booked through EOS Tours a few doors down and our guide Galina and driver Savva were lovely. We saw Tombs of the Kings, the harbour, went on a glass bottom boat trip, the Archaeological Park (the mosaics blew us away), the mall (one daughter chose to spend her birthday at the mall then by the pool!) and Coral Beach, as well as several stops on our day trip to the Troodos mountains.
Food is excellent here, we were very happy and enjoyed all our meals and drinks (especially the cocktails!). Everything was beautifully presented, there was plenty of choice and a great mix of dishes. We were all inclusive but still made the odd visit to Sunfresh bakery a few doors down for the amazing ice cream (the baked goods looked great and they stock lots of snacks too).
The whole place is really clean and as others have said, the staff were absolutely fantastic - this was a real standout for us. Every single member of staff we met was lovely - friendly, helpful, genuinely welcoming. We very much hope to be able to come back here.
We have just returned from a ten day stay at The Princessa Vera and I can't praise it highly enough.
It's location is fabulous, with the local beach within a short walk. There is a shopping mall within a five minute walk and the harbour and ancient artifacts of Paphos a short bus ride away.
I'm sure I'm speaking on behalf of my wife and step daughters when I say the food (we were all-inclusive) was first class. I'm vegetarian, but my three carnivores found the meat and fish absolutely superb. I found the veggie offerings varied and delicious. Cyprus potatoes are the finest you'll taste anywhere.
The cocktails that came as part of the all-inclusive package were delicious, with a generous range.
The rooms we stayed in were palatial. The beds were extremely comfortable and the air conditioning kept the rooms as a perfect sanctuary against the heat of the day.
Over and above all this was the excellence of the staff. The cleaning staff were unobtrusive and immaculate. The waiting staff in both eateries were charming, attentive and efficient. The bar staff were similarly friendly and professional.
Overall, we had a fantastic time at this hotel. You could easily spend your entire holiday relaxing by one of the pools. However, it's also easy to get to some of the other wonderful places housed in Cyprus.
We all intend to go back.
Great hotel in a fantastic location. Rooms clean and staff always helpful. Breakfast was lovely and bar was always good. Pool was always clean and plenty on sun beds available.
The location was perfect the atmosphere is just so wonderful the staff are amazing and hard working. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The bar Harley’s attached to the hotel has entertainment on nearly every night would just like to say that the staff Kokos, Dan , Denise and Michaela are amazing and are so warm and friendly. They make you feel part of the family. The breakfast food was lovely and a wide variety of options. Looking forward to going back next July.
