Forget the classic hotel buffet and prepare for a new a la carte exclusive parea style culinary experience. Parea in Greek means within a group of friends this in our Cantina restaurant translates to the way we serve your food. Everything goes in the middle of the table while not served at the same time, so you can share and explore our street food delicacies, ranging from Far East to the Americas with healthy and Vegan options and with an emphasis on Greek regional cuisine.
Very nice hotel to stay at : the decoration is very nice and very pleasant place to relax Spa was an amazing experience highly recommend Joanna : felt extremely relaxed and she provided an excelllent massage and facial treatment Food : it’s average but don’t except much
I had the best experience. Rooms, location, everything was a 10/10.. staff - will definately, definately be a guest again!!
The waiters/waitresses are really not very pleasant, and on top of that, we are staying at an all-inclusive resort, yet the food menu is not varied enough. The names of the dishes don’t really tell us what we are going to find on our plate, so having pictures would be helpful.
Also, if you want to disconnect from your phone… it’s impossible, because you have to order everything through an app. There is no all-you-can-eat buffet except in the morning. And for an all-inclusive resort, when you ask for a bottle of water and are told that you have to pay extra for it… that is ridiculous.
There are also restaurants that you can make reservations for, but once again, there are restrictions. If you book a 7-day holiday, you are only allowed to go to these restaurants once during your stay, and only if there is availability. And of course, you have to make the reservation through the app again.
In short, it is a very beautiful hotel, but it seems to have been designed more around aesthetics than around the actual needs and comfort of the guests.
My partner and I recently returned from an unforgettable stay at Cooks Club Corfu, and calling it "perfect" is an understatement. As someone who is notoriously fussy, I can honestly say everything was flawless from start to finish. I genuinely don't understand the negative reviews on TripAdvisor, because our experience was fabulous in every single way.
Spotless Grounds & Elite Service The hotel is immaculate. The housekeeping staff works tirelessly, and every corner of the property is kept completely spotless. Upon arrival, the reception staff set the tone with their highly informative and welcoming approach. A huge shoutout to Maria in Guest Relations, who went above and beyond trying to help us book a boat trip to Paradise Beach—her dedication and warmth was very much appreciated.
Phenomenal Food & Drink The selection of food and drinks is vast and top-tier. Using the app to order fresh food was so seamless and convenient. While the main dining options were fantastic, the à la carte restaurants were phenomenal—well worth paying a little extra for the additional menu items! For drinks, the blonde lady serving in the lobby bar is an absolute credit to the team; her service, smile, and mixology skills were outstanding.
Unbeatable Vibe & Atmosphere The atmosphere here is unmatched. During the day, the DJ by the pool creates the ultimate relaxed-yet-upbeat summer vibe, and the nightly entertainment keeps the good energy flowing long after the sun goes down.
If you are on the fence because of a few fussy reviews, ignore them. Cooks Club Corfu is a total masterpiece, and we cannot wait to return!
We’re currently staying at Cook’s Club Corfu for the week and, unfortunately, I really don’t want anyone else to make the mistake we feel we have made!
We booked last week for a last minute break. We chose to pay a premium for a swim-up room because we expected a genuine 5-star, luxury experience. Sadly, the reality has been very different.
Firstly, we had an afternoon flight and arrived at around 10pm on Friday evening. I emailed ahead of this time asking if we could have a meal upon arrival. I was informed that the kitchen shuts at 21:30 so no hot food was available. I asked if a ceaser salad could be made for us and was informed the request has been sent to the kitchen. We arrived to a tortilla wrap with one slice of cheese and ham and two slithers of cake. We had not had any dinner dur to travelling and had to find a local Resteraunt at 11pm, when we had just arrived in order to have dinner.
Our swim-up room is particularly disappointing. We paid extra for the privilege, only to find that the pool area outside our room is in the shade from morning until afternoon, meaning we get very little opportunity to sit in the sun, the sunbed area is also under cover. This is something we certainly would have considered before paying the premium had it been made clear.
The overall feel of the resort is much more geared towards catering to the masses, with little attention to the small touches you would expect from a 5- star hotel.
The pool area is another major disappointment. There are two pool areas, there simply aren’t enough sunbeds in the afternoon, and on our first day we came down and couldn’t get one at either pools despite checking 3 or 4 times. Guest Relations did eventually assist after I expressed my disappointment, but this shouldn’t be necessary at a 5-star resort. The sunbeds themselves are also uncomfortable rattan beds with metal bars running through them. Towels aren’t available until 10am, which is another strange limitation for a resort charging 5-star prices.
Food is served to your table in the cantina, but the setting and overall experience feel much more 3–4 star than 5 star, with a fairly canteen-esque atmosphere rather than the luxury dining experience we expected.
Also, be very careful when booking based on what the booking sites advertise. Although they may mention two à la carte restaurants, the à la carte experience is actually included only once during the entire stay. This was not how we interpreted the booking information and felt misleading.
One genuine positive is the extensive drinks menu, which offers plenty of choice both alcoholic and non alcoholic.
We’re staying for a full week, but unfortunately, staying at the hotel for the entire duration simply isn’t an option for us. We’ve decided to hire a moped so that we can get out and explore the island instead. Hopefully, seeing more of Corfu will make up for what has been a very disappointing hotel experience!
Overall, we are extremely disappointed. If you are booking expecting a luxury 5-star resort, I would strongly recommend doing your research, especially regarding the location of swim-up rooms, what is actually included, and the availability of sunbeds, before committing. We stayed at the Olivar Suites earlier this year and it was absolutely stunning, faultless and if you’re looking for 5* I would suggest booking there instead!
I am not one to write reviews but feel this is necessary! Had I of seen a review like this prior to booking, I would have known that this hotel was not for us.
