Corfu Holiday Palace

Amazing stay here, I’ve been here 4 times now but ever used the spa until now, wow, it’s been amazing from that start, the staff are brilliant ( Maria, Elvinna and Apostalos ) were amazing me with, I got a chest inflection and the steam room was so helpful, the team helped me each day and looked after me, all there treatments are first class I would highly recommend to everyone!

We have just come back from a 6 night stay at this beautiful hotel. Having stayed in similar hotels around Europe this one is in its own league, everything in the hotel appears seamless and life here was so easy but don’t be fooled, this is all due to the hard work of the team at Hotel Corfu Palace who run a tight ship. We had a room overlooking the beautiful lake and airport runway, whilst we’re not into plane spotting it was great fun and minimal noise disruption as they don’t fly overnight, we are light sleepers and they never woke us in the morning. The room was spotless and the addition of the fridge was useful, complimentary water each day was also much appreciated. The private beach was a sanctuary, staff at the beach bar kept the beach clean, were diligent that only hotel guests got sunbeds and I really rate their homemade lemonade! We never struggled to get sunbeds, some people were complaining they couldn’t get 4 together when they came down at 12:30-13:00 in the middle of August but what did they expect really, we went down by 10:30 each day and never had a problem. The pool too was absolutely beautiful and warm, I often went for a morning and evening swim there. I have seen other reviews complaining about no Pilates/ aqua classes etc, personally this wasn’t an issue for us as you can spend all day by the beach, swimming in the idyllic sea and pool that you don’t need to fill your time with anything else as they’re so lovely to spend time in. As a vegetarian there was always plenty of fresh salads and hot food available at dinner, the breakfast here was incredible some of the best I’ve had in a hotel which I really appreciated! In the evenings we loved walking around to the little church nearby and sitting on our balcony playing cards and watching the planes take off. We would love to come back here and so glad we booked it, so much so that we tried to book an extra night but couldn’t because of work! We have already said we’ll be back for our honeymoon one day! Very nice hotel with amazing views over the sea and mouse island! Very relaxing location, don’t worry about the planes.. they are fun to watch and noise minimal. We paid for a sea view room, very nice, although unfortunately on 4th floor we overlooked a flat roof, not a big deal but a higher floor would maybe be better.

Rooms were large and clean; serviced each day. Nice addition of water each day. I’d read reviews that rooms were dated; ours was nice and modern, with good storage and 2 armchairs. Nice and bright.

The buffet food is food and varied each night. The staff are very attentive. The pool bar is great and does nice food. We had half board package, so breakfast and dinner included.

Pool was clean and well maintained. Really easy access to the beach, using glass elevator - great addition! Small beach, with easy shallow access for swimming. Beach bar for drinks and snacks.

You can walk 5-10 mins to pretty church and watch planes. Boat €3 to mouse island. Not much to do/see on island, no cafe (I’d read there was a cafe), a few cafes near the church to take a relaxing drink and people /plane watch!

Bus stop right outside hotel to Corfu town, approx. 15 mins, €2 each way, hotel sells bus tickets for €1.50. A few bars within 5 mins walk from hotel, including Skyview.

Overall a great stay, relaxing and enjoyable. I’d say more aimed at couple or families with older children/teens.
