Cnic Paleo Art Nouveau Hotel

We booked a superior sea view room. The view was absolutely spectacular and the room was a good size and had contemporary decor. The bathroom and balcony were good too. The entire hotel is spotless,thanks to the hard working housekeeping team. Thank you to Dennis for looking after our room. Reception and restaurant staff very friendly. We enjoyed the food and drinks and always found enough choice. We used the roof top pool most days and there were always sunbeds available. We had lunch in the seating area up there too, such a pleasant vibe. The roof bar staff were very friendly, hard working and we never had to queue for drinks. A big thank you to Joanna who looked after us all week. The location is fabulous with amazing sunsets and easy access to La Grotta, beaches, shops and boat trips. We walked everywhere, including up to the Monastery.
Hope to return one day.

I can not understand the 5star 10/10 reviews for this hotel. This is not a 4 star hotel certain parts of the hotel run down. Wilson was a lovely member of staff always happy with the biggest smile and willing to help with anything, as was the lady and man who worked in the rooftop bar. The area and scenery are beautiful but the hotel can't take credit for that. Breakfast was nice. Lunch is the biggest let down in my opinion twice now ive been served a meat that is stone cold freezing, burger slapped on the bun literally right out the fridge the serving staff both time were extremely apologetic but after the 2nd time sorry just doesnt cut it, went to the aĺlecart restaurant ordered the premium lobster starter witch contained 4 tiny prawns and no lobster, when I complained I was told its premium lobster so the cut it very very thin but even he had a look and there was non in both of our starters. We were told at the beginning of the holiday when checking in that the all inclusive drink menu is obviously free but all other menus u recieve 50% discount, at the main bar I approached the bar at bang on 23:00 and was approached by a member of staff who looked annoyed at having to place his phone down, he instantly said ur all inclusive is finished before i even opened my mouth, I told him that's ok ill take a drink from the other menu for him to tell me no discount ur all inclusive is finished I told him to forget it and he happily went back to his phone. If i hadn't paid £2200 for just 1 week for 2 people perhaps I wouldn't mind much but I have honestly had better food, drinks and service at cheaper 3 star hotels, its a shame because the placement of the hotel is absolutely beautiful and has so much potential but I will never return, my photos of the area especially the cliff bar directly across from the hotel so already ive had so many questions asking for hotel details to have a look at booking ive honestly told everyone of them to absolutely come to the are just not this hotel. Anyone considering this hotel Please choose a better hotel to spend your hard earned cash on, I ignored the odd bad review on this hotel due to the overwhelming 5star reviews but I honestly which I hadnt, if it was cheaper perhaps but not for what they charge.
