The hotel is ideal for couples, families and groups of friends and is located in a spacious garden setting just outside the traditional fishing village of Roda, in North Corfu. This modern hotel extends a warm welcome to guests and provides a host of amenities and leisure facilities to ensure an unforgettable holiday. The hotel is run in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, owned and operated by the founding family. The hotel has comfortable rooms and a unique, bridge-flanked, free-shaped swimming pool, where guests can relax in the shade or in the sun after exploring the Island of Corfu.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Stayed here for 10 days and on the whole its a nice 3 star hotel. The rooms are Ok, nice reception and bar area. There are seats inside by the bar and also outside on the veranda which is a nice area. The pool is a great size and possibly one of the biggest in the resort. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. If I'm to give an honest review though I have to mention some negatives of our stay. The food at breakfast is the smallest offering we've seen at any hotel we've stayed in. Beans every day accompanied by one of either scrambled egg, omelette or fried egg. We ate at different times and the hot food was always only just warm. Other to this you have greek yoghurt, bread to make toast, a pastry plus cold slices of ham and cheese. Thats basically it.
Maybe we're a bit picky but the grassy area around the pool could be better. There were areas of longer grass in need of cutting then bald patches that had been under sun loungers. It could have looked better rather than a little scruffy. We only ate twice at the pool snack bar but in our opinion the quality of the food we chose wasn't great.
We didn't know in advance that we had to pay for the use of the air conditioning but fair enough. The rental of the safe, air con and hotel tax for 10 days cost us 150 euros.
We stayed at Pegasus for 7 nights in August.
It was fantastic from the moment we checked in. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
The atmosphere was brilliant and they made the children feel special.
The location was also brilliant right near the beach and all the shops and restaurants. With the children this was perfect as we did not need to walk far.
The housekeeping team kept the rooms clean everyday and breakfast was free at the hotel.
There's loads to do near this hotel but the owner also offers help with excursions.
I could not recommend this hotel enough.
Just back from two weeks stay at the Pegasus hotel, pro,s and con,s first impression was that we were greeted by an evening receptionist who said ‘welcome but you will have to change rooms in a couple off days’ we weren’t very happy with this but on reflection if it was for someone less able then we told the lovely Eugene the next morning that we were happy to change rooms, she knew nothing about this and it was never asked off us 🤷♀️, we found the evening receptionist not very helpful at all with anything but Eugene couldn’t do enough for you. Aircon, safe key and tourist tax (which I get you have to pay) cost €220 plus another €30 to keep the room for a shower on our departure as there is no courtesy room, Rooms were fine though right next to the bar and main road so could be quite noisy, one pillow was very dirty and stained with brown marks all over it. Pool was lovely but we are beach people so only stayed around the pool a couple off times, had lunch but have to say none off the staff were very friendly, I feel that unless your at the pool everyday spending money you get ignored. Breakfast was fine geek yoghurt and honey delicious. Roda itself is beautiful just a five minute walk from hotel to the beach, bars and restaurants, we would definitely return to Roda but unfortunately not to Pegasus.
Had a fantastic time at this friendly hotel. Staff were very wrlcoming. It was spotlessly clean, the food from pool snack bar was great and reasonably priced. Breakfast was a smaller offering but still really enjoyed it. The kumquat marmalade is fab in the Greek yogurt! The pool bar was great big shout to Vivi for lovely chats and service. My daughter loved the pool it was so clean and big. Great location 5 mins walk into the busy Road village centre where all the bars and restaurants and beach are. We would defo recccomend and come back.
Stayed here with 3 adults and 3 children aged 11,6 and 4. We had 2 rooms. They put us next to each other which was fab. The hotel is a beautiful hotel with a fab location just a 10 minute walk to beach, bars and restaurants. The rooms were lovely cleaned daily to perfection with a lovely modern bathroom. Continental breakfast all made fresh with fresh fruit ice cold water ice cold fresh orange juice with a range of hot drinks too. You get greeted every morning by the lovely manager who is so friendly and always cheerful. I have to say all the staff there were so friendly couldn’t do enough to help you. The pool was fantastic endless amounts of inflatables free to use for anyone and perfect temperature too cool you down. Great value for money. It’s in a nice location only downside is you can hear the traffic from the road which isn’t too bad until you get the motorbikes which seem to be a lot louder in Corfu then over in the uk. Balcony’s are a fab size. Air con in room for 8euros a day and pay at end of your stay but I must say this is a must and from what I’ve seen that is cheap. The bar and snack bar are cheap and lovely food. Plenty of sun loungers and what I love the most is that there isn’t any sun bed wars and no one reserves the loungers. We are already looking at coming again hopefully and will be booking directly with the hotel instead.
