Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and palm trees, the elegant and modern Stella Palace is set on a private beach in the traditional village of Analipsis on the northern coast of the popular holiday island of Crete. The luxurious hotel offers stylish accommodation and features two gigantic lagoon-style swimming pools, a wide range of sports facilities and many entertainment options for children. The cosmopolitan town of Hersonissos with its famous nightlife can be reached within a short drive. An ideal hotel for couples and families with children for a beach holiday.
George and the team have done it again !!!
From start to finish Stella cannot be beaten for families ...... we went with a 16 year old and 13 year old ( who insisted we came back in 2026 )
Rooms - 900 by Mexican is perfect for those worried about the sunbed space ... as our boys are getting older next year we will ask for the 900 rooms at waterpark if possible
Food - All a la carte were high standard and Almyra was our personal favourite , the buffet can be noisy but the the food is of a high standard - best we've has in the three times at the resort - Steak at Veranda for sharing was fantastic and a great touch this year was the ability to buy beer to match the food and nice wine - Yes its AI but Corona , Tsingtao and Whispering Angel were priced well
Staff - Absolutely amazing - It proves how wrong we seem to have things in the UK . So many smiling staff happy to make your holiday special , all going the extra mile
Special mentions - Elia pool bar - Ouliana ( the boys loved her making mocktails ) and the waitress Valentina - what a star - she knew from day 1 what we liked for lunch
After many year of great holidays we still cannot find a match for Stella !!!!

We have just returned from a week at Stella Palace and wow what can I say but AMAZING!! π€© We are a family of 4 with two teenage boys, 13 & 14, and we have nothing but positive things to say about this beautiful hotel!
β¨ The staff are so friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and weβre always on hand to help if needed.
β¨The food was great, but the food in the restaurants is second to none incredible! I think our favourite was Almura, although it was actually hard to choose as they were all amazing! We have two gluten free in our family and there was always food for us in either the buffet or the restaurants. In the buffet we had pancakes, they cooked fresh bacon for us at breakfast, the spaghetti bolognese was lovely but if you have one thing when there I would say have the pizza! The gluten free pizza was one of the best I have even eaten. For us finding somewhere we feel safe to eat as my husband is coeliac is always hard but this hotel was everything he needed! Also my son had the normal pizza and he said it was the best heβs ever had, and he is a pizza connoisseur π
β¨ Having a brilliant waterpark on sight was a definite clincher of the holiday for us and it didnβt disappoint. Hardly any queues, always sun beds when we went there, brilliant cocktails and lovely food.
β¨ Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. We had a two bedroom room and they were brilliant for us as a family with teenagers. There was enough space for us all.
β¨ We never struggled to get a sun lounger which was amazing as we have been to hotels before where we had to be up at the crack of dawn to get one.
β¨ The daily activities were great, my boys joined the water polo and volleyball daily and the evening entertainment was great. And if sitting watching shows isnβt for you there are loads of bars to chose from and also in the Kochyli Bar was different events each night.
π And if you do just one thing, go and see that sunset on the beach!!!!
π So all in all we had the BEST holiday and I would definitely say this is a five star hotel!!
Thank you Stella Palace Aqua Park Resort π
We've just returned from the most wonderful family holiday at The Stella Palace Aqua Resort, and I honestly can't recommend it highly enough. As a family of three, we were looked after so well that it's hard to know where to start! The Room: We stayed in a standard room which exceeded expectations β beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and modern, with incredibly comfortable beds. Daily housekeeping kept everything fresh throughout our stay. Food & Facilities: The food was excellent across the board. The main buffet offered a great variety and consistently high standard, and the kids' snack options at the waterpark and at Scoops and Bites were a brilliant touch β so convenient when you've got hungry little ones who don't want to leave the fun. The Waterpark: This was a huge highlight for us. Slides for every age meant the whole family could join in, and my son spent hours there, making friends with other kids from all over. It was fantastic to watch him having such a great time. The Staff β The Real Stars: As lovely as the resort itself is, it's the people who truly made our holiday unforgettable. Every single staff member was friendly, helpful and full of fun β but a few individuals went above and beyond and deserve a special mention: Agape at the Poseidon Restaurant made every meal feel special with her warmth and attentiveness. And at the Kochyli Pool Bar, Nikos, Ioanna, Dimis, Julianna, Miguel, Anthonis and Michael were an absolute joy from start to finish. Every single day we were greeted like old friends β genuine smiles, real conversations, and that lovely feeling of being truly welcomed rather than just served. It's rare to find a team so consistently warm and engaged, and it made a huge difference to our overall experience. Overall: Beautiful rooms, excellent food, a brilliant waterpark and β above all β a team of staff who made us feel like part of the family. We'll be back, and we can't wait to see everyone again! Thank you to the whole Stella Palace team for such a special holiday. βββββ
Genuinely fantastic hotel, great staff and great food and drink.
We stayed in direct access private pool rooms and they were amazing !
The 2 gyms are very well equipt, the spa and massage were good too. Al a carte restaurants were great especially the veranda and Asian
We are a family of 11βgrandparents, parents and childrenβand have just returned from a wonderful second holiday at Stella Palace. Although we considered other destinations, none offered facilities as good as those at Stella Palace. We wondered whether the resort would live up to our first visit, but we need not have worried: the accommodation was superb, the complex was spotless, and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. The daytime service in the Elia restaurant was exceptional, and the evening service in all the other restaurants was impeccable. However, the evening service at Elia was inattentive, with staff appearing disinterested.
It would be churlish to single out individuals when the whole team was so welcoming, but special mention should go to Nicos, the cocktail magician; Valentina, an exceptionally hard-working and attentive waitress; Stellios, for his wonderful smile and cheery conversation while transporting us around the complex; and Maria, who was extremely helpful at the service desk.
Despite the excellent staff and our overall five-star experience, the lack of accessible toilets was a major problem. The Abrazo and Elia restaurants share a poolside toilet that was a considerable walk away and, on occasions, was in a disgusting condition. My wife is disabled and has difficulty walking, so the distance was a serious accessibility issue. Other toilets were also often in poor condition. Every restaurant should have its own clean, easily accessible toilets. By contrast, the toilets serving the Poseidon and Veranda restaurants are excellent and very accessible.
As returning guests, we were once again made to feel very welcome. Although I felt sorry for the staff having to cope with the drunken loutish and embarrassing behaviour of certain groups of British guests, this did not outweigh the warmth of the welcome or the quality of the resort. We would happily return to Stella Palace, particularly if the toilet provision and accessibility issues were addressed.
