Wonderful Resort!
We stayed here 2 years running which we’ve never done anywhere before! Absolutely lovely resort, lots of space and gardens, several pools, never a problem getting a sun lounger, lovely staff. Choice of restaurants ,we go half board so for lunch we wander 5/10 mins on the beach in either direction to a beach bar or walk into Georgioupolis (about 15/20 mins along the beach) and there are plenty of places to eat. We’d usually get a taxi back(6 euros). It’s a 3 minute walk through a tunnel to the beach(gorgeous) and the beach restaurant and pool. We loved it here! If you go for a pool view room I’d recommend asking for a ground floor room. If you can afford it I’d recommend getting a taxi from/to the airport. The free coach provided by Tui takes forever!

Hotel and Location were perfect for our active holiday in the mountains and the hike in the Samaria Gorge
Location: Georgioupoli with two rivers, a nice harbour, a chapel in the sea and a beautiful eucalyptus avenue. Hotel very nice with a very nice reception hall. Very friendly atmosphere and very friendly staff. The room with the garden view was only a view of a small meadow and flowering bushes. Cleanliness was OK, but there were many ants on the terrace - they came from the meadow. Our room was on the ground floor. Noise level - OK. Amenities: Kettle in the room, coffee- and tea-bags and nice toiletries in the bathroom. Very importent for me: The hotel has the perfect beach with a view of the mountains.
A Wonderful Family Holiday at Pilot Beach Resort
Overall, we had a great stay at the resort and really enjoyed our holiday. The resort itself is beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere, plenty of greenery and a wonderful natural environment.
Our room was a good size for our family and was generally comfortable. The mattress was a little softer than we personally prefer, but of course, this is a matter of personal preference. A few small details, such as the floor and the mosquito net, could use some maintenance.
We only used the air conditioning once or twice, but unfortunately, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the unit when it was switched on.
The staff were generally very friendly and helpful, with a special mention for the team at Gialos Restaurant, who were particularly nice and welcoming.
One small area for improvement would be the coffee, which unfortunately didn’t taste very good at any of the bars or restaurants we tried.
The resort is very family-friendly, and we especially appreciated the beach service. The lifeguard takes his job very seriously and was constantly attentive, making sure everyone was safe in the water. This gave us great peace of mind, especially with our children.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily come back again. Thank you to the whole team for a lovely holiday!

Not quite a five star experience
Room and employees were fantastic and service during the stay was good. When leaving the room for going home was it a huge disappointment Showers in one building and our luggage in main building. Nowhere to change clothes or re-pack suitcases or makeup for them who needed this. A great possibility for upgrading and giving the service you want the guests will bring back home

I really liked the hotel. Accommodation, cleanliness, roos,location noise level, ... However one negative and enoying point: the 2 girls serving at the beach bar are way to slow and noy very friendly.
