This traditional hotel enjoys a strategic setting, just 50 metres from the sandy beach in the resort of Kato Gouves. The hotel is located within easy access of a number of attractions in the area, and lies just a short distance away from Hersonissos Town and Heraklion City. This delightful hotel greets guests with a classically-inspired exterior, exuding a warm welcome to guests upon arrival. The guest rooms are elegantly appointed, featuring soothing tones with spontaneous splashes of colour. The rooms come complete with modern amenities for added comfort. Guests will be impressed by the excellent facilities that the hotel has to offer.
This hotel apartments were small but adequate for a holiday, contained everything that was needed. The bathroom facilities was a big walk in shower which was easy to use and wet room flooring. The bar staff were all very pleasant and happy to help, although I do think those working in the restaurant area could and should have been more accommodating. They asked some people if they wanted any drinks but not everyone. We were only asked once during our stay. We had to obtain drinks from the bar ourselves, or not have a drink with the meal. The bar area was difficult at mealtimes due to being busy. Yes would have been nice to enjoy a drink with our meal together. The restaurant area itself was laid out quite well with adequate seating, always found a table to sit at. The food was plenty although not topped up if you were on the later side, which was disappointing. Also the food was never hot. This is my only real downside of our stay. We had a lovely time. We were across the road from the main buildings, with a pool right outside our door. We had to go over to the main area for drinks which although not terrible meant you would probably have less from the bar than you would have done. In fact we bought drinks from the shop at the end of the road for around the pool area and in our room.
Just returned, unfortunately disappointing. Lovely staff but frustrating having to queue and wait at the bar just for a drink of cold water or wine whilst eating!! Usually only 1 member of staff serving and always queues. Lack of evening entertainment, only every other night!
Really nice little hotel close to the beach; reasonable-sized pool, and sunbed availability was good. Rooms were clean and spacious, and bedding was regularly changed. nice atmosphere, but it lacked regular evening entertainment, whereas it was plain that other hotels nearby did have regular entertainment; the food was very good and varied and catered for most people's tastes. Costa made sure it was kept HOT, and the standard was good. The bar staff were fantastic, especially Popi. Noise levels at night were minimal, although during the day there was constant noise from aircraft, as the area is directly under the flight path for Heraklion. There were many bars and restaurants nearby, so if things were a little quiet for your taste, there were alternative venues you could visit nearby. Plenty of tourist shops and supermarkets Overall, a very nice Hotel with very helpful staff; the only real fault, if you can call it that, was that it lacked regular evening entertainment. Other than that, a pretty good value for money Hotel.
The location is good if you want to be near the sea and you want quite. The atmosphere is very nice, almost every night are activetis. I like that, the rooms are clean and every day they are cleaning theme. Also are big. The food is nice but every time i found many plates and bowls dirty. The single amenitie is the pool. The service from the bar it's very nice. I give to this hotel 3.5-4 stars.
Fantastic place for a family holiday. We especially enjoyed the food service provided by hotel hero Kristos who was on hand every day and night providing food for all. Included Gluten free advice and real choices for us all. We were there for a week, and we can highly recommend! We had a 2 bedroom suite for a family and it was ideal for our family of 4 with teenagers, girl and boy who didn't want to share a room. We all had our space and enjoyed a balcony too. The facilities were extensive, including a games room, pools and evening entertainment 3 nights of the week we were there. It was a wonderful holiday and we would love to return. Crete itself is warm friendly and so welcoming. Fairly priced everywhere you go. So much to see and do on the island. We needed longer than a week to explore and we highly recommend the car hire service available from the hotel reception. Very friendly staff and helpful with all our queries.
