The hotel is situated 32 km east of Heraklion airport between Malia and Stalida. Just 200 m from the entrance is one of Crete's most beautiful beaches. There is a bus station 150 m from the hotel, where there are buses going to Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos. Malia Town is 1 km away, Hersonissos is 8 km away, Heraklion is 35 km away and Agios Nikolaos is 25 km from the hotel.
The hotel consists of a main building and 6 bungalow buildings spread throughout the lush gardens, and has 134 rooms altogether. The main building features a friendly reception area, an elegant lobby, a dining room with a veranda overlooking the pool and a main bar. In addition, there are 2 lifts, and a free parking lot for guests, along with a children's playground and a small supermarket.
Guests can choose between a room in the main building or a bungalow. In the main building guests can enjoy the magnificent view of the pool and the Mediterranean sea, whereas in the bungalows guests are able to take advantage of the privacy, the peacefulness and the traditional architecture. All rooms (22-25m² in size) have been recently renovated and tastefully decorated, and include a WC/bath, balcony or terrace, satellite TV-radio (18 channels), individual air conditioning, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, telephone in the bathroom, fridge and safe deposit box. Family suites (38m² in size), accommodating up to 5 persons, are very elegant and modern, with 2 separate bedrooms and a large bathroom and also offer exactly the same amenities as the double rooms.

Good value with a but ..................
We got back last night , we've encountered some of the worst storms Crete has had in years . It should of been mid to high 20's and sunny . I reaslied a few days before we were due to leave that all the glowing reviews had been translated by Tripadvisor from German to English . Here in lies the problem . Around 90% of the clients were German . They were no problem and most were polite but didnt on the whole try to communicate when most can speak English .We like to go to the bar and chat to new people but we couldnt do that .Plus boy , do they like to smoke ! The covered pool bar areas were often too smokey for us and we had to sit in the open to get away from it . Anyway apart from that ,room was good , staff lovely , food was mixed and we thought average . At about £85 each a day for room , three meals and unlimited drinks I think its good value .The strip is 5 minutes away if you want to eat out some days or find another bar. Its not a beach hotel and its a good 10-15 minute walk .Its a good hotel if youre German , so we wont be back . PS a non smoking are would of been lovely
The Best Massage with Sofia
I love the hotel, very clean, and the staff are very kind. I had the Bodyscrub and Full Body Massage with Sofia, and it was the best massage, that i had ever.

Hotel and spa
Sentido kyknos beach hotel is a beautiful hotel close to local shops and the beach.
The food is good with a nice variety. Staff are friendly, giving you a little extra in your drink in the evenings.
I experienced the spa twice while here, once for an exfoliation and then for an aromatherapy massage. It was exactly what I needed. They really look after you here.
My only negative is this is a smoking hotel and it is difficult to avoid when outside enjoying the pool and outside facilities. This is something to consider if you are a non -smoker.
