Simply amazing hotel
We stayed at Minoa for one week when visiting Crete and in advance we had really high hopes for our hotel stay and we were not at all disappointed!
Very friendly staff, amazing breakfast buffet, nice spacious hotel rooms and fantastic pool and beach facilities. Getting a good sunbed was not at all a problem regardless of what time of day you needed to find a bed to lounge by the pool in.
The hotel is stunning, big and full of different facilities such as spa, a mini kiosk, a nice gym, its own beach spot, two different breakfast areas (one area by the sea) and bike cycle rental.
We really loved staying at this hotel and wish to highlight the staff hospitality. Would definitely recommend!

Minoa Palace Resort is one of those rare hotels where the experience genuinely exceeds the expectations set by the beautiful surroundings.
The hotel itself is excellent: elegant, beautifully maintained, spacious and thoughtfully designed. The rooms and facilities are of a very high standard, the pools and grounds are gorgeous, and everything feels polished and cared for. But as good as the hard product is, the real reason Minoa Palace stands out is its people.
The level of service is absolutely outstanding.
From the moment we arrived, we were met with genuine warmth, professionalism and an extraordinary attention to detail. Every interaction, whether with reception, housekeeping, the restaurant teams, pool staff or anyone else we encountered, was characterised by kindness and a sincere desire to make our stay wonderful. Nothing ever felt transactional or scripted. Instead, there is a generosity and authenticity to the hospitality here that is increasingly difficult to find, even at very good five-star hotels.
What impressed us most was the consistency. Exceptional service from one or two individuals can happen anywhere; at Minoa Palace, it seems to be embedded in the culture of the entire hotel. Staff remember you, anticipate what you might need, notice the small things and somehow manage to be attentive without ever being intrusive. Requests are handled effortlessly and with a smile, and you are made to feel not simply like a hotel guest, but genuinely welcomed and looked after.
That distinction is what elevates Minoa Palace from a very good resort to an exceptional one.
We have stayed at many high-end hotels and resorts over the years, and beautiful rooms, impressive facilities and lovely pools can be found in many places. Truly outstanding hospitality is much rarer. Minoa Palace has it in abundance.
The hard product is very good. The soft product is quite simply exceptional, and ultimately, that is what we will remember most about our stay.
A huge thank you to the entire team for making our time here so special. We would return without hesitation, and would recommend Minoa Palace wholeheartedly to anyone who values genuinely exceptional service.

Highly recommended hotel, 5+++(6) stars
Perfectly located near the beach and the town center. Calm and pleasant atmosphere. Room at the Imperial was very nice, with sea view and quiet surroundings. Very clean overall. The service level was og high quality, very friendly and proffesional staff. The amenties was more than we expected; restaurants, selections of food and wine, pool and enough sunbeds.

We had a fantastic stay at Minoa Palace and couldn't have asked for a better holiday. The facilities were excellent, the service was outstanding, and our room was beautiful, making the entire experience incredibly relaxing from start to finish.
On our final evening, we decided to try the wine tasting experience. It's not something we would normally choose, but it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. George, the sommelier, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, making the whole experience both enjoyable and easy to follow.
As a couple of 27-year-olds, we had always associated wine tasting with an older crowd, but this completely changed our perspective. The carefully selected food pairings complemented each wine perfectly, and every wine we tried was delicious. It was a fun, memorable evening and the perfect way to end an amazing holiday.
We would highly recommend Minoa Palace to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality, and we especially encourage guests to book the wine tasting with George - you won't regret it!
