This beach resort is situated on the west coast of the magnificent Kassandra peninsula, the first of the three beach-fringed peninsulas of Halkidiki. It is close to the glorious and unspoiled beaches of the Sithonia peninsula. The bus station is roughly 9 km from the resort and Thessaloniki 'Macedonia' Airport is about 80 km away. This luxurious low rise hotel, with magnificent views over Mount Olympus and the Aegean, provides guests with an array of amenities. White sand and ancient olive groves adorn the surrounding hills. The magnificently welcoming bungalows, with contemporary design of soothing blue and white colours, provide a private setting with stunning views, while a choice of exciting cuisine ensures a very memorable stay.
We have just returned from 10 absolutely wonderful days at Sani Club, and once again, Sani has managed to make our family holiday incredibly special.
For us, Sani Club is without a doubt the most beautiful location within the resort. We love its peaceful and intimate atmosphere, surrounded by nature, the beautiful gardens, the direct access to the beach and, above all, the absolutely breathtaking views over the sea. Waking up to that view every morning and watching the sunsets in the evening was truly magical.
Travelling with a young child, the Kids Club is another huge part of what makes Sani so special for us. Our daughter absolutely loved going there. The team is wonderful with the children: warm, caring and enthusiastic, with plenty of activities to keep them entertained. Seeing her so happy and excited to go back made our holiday so much more relaxing as parents too.
The sports and fitness offering was another highlight of our stay. We really enjoyed the variety and quality of the classes available, which made it very easy to stay active while on holiday. The coaches were excellent — professional, motivating and attentive — and every session felt both challenging and enjoyable. It was a real pleasure to be able to train in such a beautiful setting, and it definitely added another dimension to our stay.
A very special mention must also go to the concierge team, who were absolutely wonderful throughout our stay, and especially to Anna.
The service throughout Sani Club was exceptional. Everyone we met was genuinely kind, attentive and professional, always ready to help while remaining incredibly discreet. It is that combination of impeccable service and genuine warmth that makes Sani feel so special.
We also loved our mornings at breakfast. The choice is fantastic, everything is fresh and beautifully prepared, and having breakfast overlooking the sea is possibly the best way to start the day.
More than anything, what we will remember from these ten days is how effortless and happy the whole holiday felt. Beautiful surroundings, wonderful food, an amazing team, a fantastic Kids Club and so many little details that make travelling as a family incredibly easy.
Ten unforgettable days, and we already cannot wait to come back. Thank you to the entire Sani Club team for making our stay so special.
This was our second year visiting Sani Club, and once again, we had a wonderful time. Our kids absolutely loved the beach at Sani club and the children’s pool at Porto.
This year, our favourite restaurants at the resort were Pines, Cabana, El Puerto, and Macaroni. All the staff are incredibly friendly and go the extra mile every day to make your stay special. We would especially like to thank Maria Paraskevopoulou and Christos Tsavdaris from Reception for all the help and support they provided throughout our stay and of course Sakis and Vasilios for their hospitality. Thank you very much for another wonderful experience. We will definitely be visiting you again!
Beautiful resort, but sadly missing the special touch for us
This was our first stay at Sani Club and, while there were lots of things we really liked, our experience didn’t quite live up to the exceptional service and personal touches we had heard so much about.
We arrived at around 11pm, checked in at reception and waited for a buggy to take us to our room. There wasn’t a welcome drink, possibly because we arrived so late, although there was a prepared sandwich waiting for us in the room which was a thoughtful touch.
Our room was spotless, beautifully presented and nicely decorated. The only downside was that my daughter’s bed was the sofa bed, which unfortunately wasn’t particularly comfortable.
It may partly have been down to our late arrival, or perhaps we simply missed something, but we don’t seem to have had quite the same experience as many of the reviews I’d read before coming. We didn’t have a WhatsApp concierge arranging our restaurant reservations or checking in with us, and we never really experienced that personal level of service that Sani seems to be known for. The staff we did encounter were lovely, friendly and helpful, but overall we sometimes felt like just another number rather than guests at a luxury resort.
We also weren’t given a proper explanation of how Full Board and Dine Around worked. For the first couple of evenings we didn’t realise that the Dine Around menus couldn’t be used in the same way at every restaurant. At some restaurants you instead receive €25 per person towards the à la carte menu, but with the prices of the food this doesn’t go particularly far. The Dine Around menus themselves also felt quite limited and similar across several restaurants. In hindsight, I’m not convinced Full Board was the best value for us and it may actually have been more cost-effective to pay for our meals separately.
Drinks were another surprise. We noticed we seemed to be one of the only families regularly ordering the bottled water around the pool. We soon realised why — at around €9 a bottle, it adds up very quickly! Most people seemed to bring their own reusable bottles and refill them, which we eventually realised was the sensible thing to do.
The White Party was also very different from what we expected. Rather than feeling like family entertainment, it felt more like an 18–30s, with lots of groups of teenagers around 12–18 years old. For us, with a younger child, it didn’t feel particularly suitable or enjoyable.
The shuttle service was probably one of our biggest frustrations. Getting from Sani Club to the Marina and other parts of the resort could be difficult, but getting back sometimes felt even harder. Shuttles would regularly whizz past and it was never particularly clear whether or when one was going back to Sani Club. Around the Marina there were also groups of unsupervised children and teenagers jumping on and off the shuttles, which at times made the whole experience feel quite chaotic and uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, our holiday also ended on a low as we came down with a sickness and diarrhoea bug on our final day. Of course, it’s impossible to know exactly where we picked this up, so I wouldn’t want to suggest it was necessarily connected to the hotel, but it was an unfortunate end to the trip and worth mentioning as part of our overall experience.
That said, Sani itself is undeniably beautiful. The resort is immaculate, the surroundings are stunning and we had some really lovely food. The staff were always pleasant and there is a lot to like about the resort.
For us, though, it was missing that extra level of personal service and attention to detail that turns a beautiful five-star resort into a genuinely special experience. We enjoyed parts of our holiday, but unfortunately came away feeling that Sani Club didn’t quite live up to the experience we had expected from everything we had heard and read beforehand.
We recently spent eight wonderful days at Sani Club on a family holiday. The facilities are beautiful, everything is exceptionally clean and well maintained, and our overall experience was excellent.
What impressed us most, however, was the outstanding level of service provided by the hotel staff. We would especially like to express our sincere appreciation to Christos Tsiavdaridis. He remained in constant contact with us throughout our stay and was always available to help, regardless of the time. He was consistently friendly, positive, attentive and highly professional.
We are already considering returning to Sani Club.
A Truly 5 Star Holiday – We Can’t Wait to Return!
We have just returned from the most wonderful week at Sani Resort in Halkidiki, and it genuinely exceeded every expectation.
From the moment we arrived, there was simply no stone left unturned. Anna, our concierge, was absolutely incredible, with Alexander covering for her when needed. Between them, we honestly didn’t have to do or think about anything for the entire week, everything was taken care of before we even had chance to ask.
As someone with severe OCD, this was honestly like medicine for me. Being able to completely switch off, knowing everything was organised and taken care of, allowed me to properly relax in a way I very rarely manage to do. But what made it even better was that it wasn’t just perfect for me – my husband and our two boys absolutely loved every minute too.
The mid-week massage worked an absolute treat and was exactly what I needed! The service throughout the resort was exceptional, including the lovely drivers in the Volvos and the team on the golf cart buggies. Alexander and Panagiotis particularly stood out for us – their friendliness, attentiveness and excellent customer service made such a difference. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
And the food… WOW. Absolutely to die for! Every meal felt like part of the experience and the quality throughout the resort was outstanding.
We stayed in the suites and would highly recommend them. The whole experience genuinely felt five star from beginning to end, luxurious without ever feeling stuffy, incredibly attentive and perfect for a family.
We came home relaxed, happy and already talking about going back. In fact, we can’t wait to return next year!
Thank you to Anna, Alexandra, Alexander, Panagiotis and the entire Sani team for giving our family such a special week. You’ve set the bar incredibly high. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
