On the southeast coast of Kos island, 7km from the Marine and Kos town and 32km from Kos International airport (KGS), the hotel is located on Agios Fokas beach, renowned for its crystal clear waters. The Therma hot springs at 3,5km, is an attraction to visit and enjoy the curing effects.
Dimitra Beach Hotel & Suites has renovated all its public areas and rooms 2015-2019 to now be a cozy and modern hotel. In approximately 70.000 m2 of land, covered with marvelous gardens, the Resort consists of the main building, the annex building that features the Club Suites and 5 more blocks of bungalows near the private beach.
3 restaurants, 4 bars & lounges (2 adults only lounges), 3 adults' pools and 3 separate kids' pools, sports activities during the day and evening entertainment to enjoy. Beautiful Hotel Amazing Staff Fantastic views.
My wife and I spent 10 days in September2026. We received all the amenities we requested ( high floor etc.) Our well presented room with outstanding sea views was kept spotless. Nicely stocked fridge replenished every day. A team of gardeners keep the grounds bright and neatly manicured. Staff are amazing ( good staff- guest ratio) and will do anything they can possibly do to make it a relaxed pampered stay. Everyone in the reception are friendly knowledgeable and engaging. Food offering is of a high standard most varied choice of is in the main restaurant. The only truly Al a Carte is the Cucina Restaurant. The others a self service but waited on for drinks. Evening entertainment was of a decent standard but of course never pleases everyone. Great bar/table service. Staff very attentive rarely any queueing. With their help always managed to find a seat. The brochure alerts guests that the property is not best for people who have walking difficulties. We are usually very able but found some areas had many steps and were difficult to get to. Nevertheless with the help of Ahmed and his faithful buggy we very much enjoyed our stay. Two of the stand out staff were Christina and Denis in the Water Pool ( swim up). Always a smile pleasant friendly courteous professional in every way. Thank You for both looking after us.
September Holiday
Just returned from a 10 night Holiday at the Dimitra Hotel Overall we were impressed with the hotel and its facilities We were given a free room upgrade to a suite but when speaking to other people this seemed the norm Food in general was good in both restaurants but a little bit repetitive We found the lower smaller restaurant more to our taste Al a carte where do we start one of our worst experiences from barley warm onion soup to A beef dish that was so tough I didn't eat it and was finished of with tiramisu which just tasted of custard Also red wine served cold out of the fridge why a waitress that looked like she had just come from house keeping rather than dressed for à la carte Also not enough staff coming round asking if you required and drinks something I havent experienced before staying at other 5 star hotels I would rate this as a solid 4 as the staff they did have went above and beyond

Best time!
The location is only 10 minutes from the old town, but the hotel makes up for the distance, we didn’t want to leave the poolside! The atmosphere is fun and the rooms were always up to standard and always clean! The noise level is quite at night with the entertainment ending by 11 most nights. The service was super quick all round and you would always be with food or drink whenever you needed it! This hotel is very valuable for the price!
Flawless stay in Kos! Amazing beachfront bungalow and world-class staff
My boyfriend and I loved every second of our time here. The resort is huge, super clean, and really well maintained, but it’s laid out in a way that it never feels crowded or overrun. You always have plenty of space to relax. The staff truly made the whole experience for us. Everyone was so warm, efficient, and eager to help with anything. A huge thank you to George, who was always around checking in on guests, having lovely chats, and making sure everyone was having a great time. Another big shoutout to Joanne for making some of the best cocktails of our trip! Our beachfront bungalow was incredible, especially having our own terrace and private sun loungers right by the water. On top of that, the food was great, the evening entertainment was super extensive, and there was always something to do or eat. You definitely never go hungry here. We had such a memorable stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Kos! We’ll be back next year for sure!

2 weeks at the Dimitra Beach Hotel & Suites (Kos)
We stayed at the Dimitra Beach Hotel & Suites for 2 weeks all inclusive. Everything about the Hotel is wonderful. The location is fantastic, with a view across the water to Turkey. 25 min bus trip from Kos Town (2 adults 4 euros). The rooms are beautifully laid out with very large comfortable beds and a relaxing sofa in our room. A large TV, fridge ( stocked daily) great walk in shower and plenty of clothes hanging and storage space. There are 3 pools - we used the one next to the Greek Restaurant. Very cold but refeshing. The Sun loungers are comfortable - Probably a foot in depth with an adjustable back rest. There are bar's close by and often poolside service. The restaurants are all amazing. The food in all of the restaurant's are great. Different themes each night. Italian restaurant is also great. The drinks are plentiful. Plenty of soft drinks and water. Entertainment is provided each evening and is also very good. The Bar and Restaurant Teams are so very friendly and excellent. They work so hard with a smile. We truly appreciated the time and effort all the Team put in to making our stay a holiday to remember. Wonderful times. Many thanks go to Silvi and John the captain's Team. The Night Bar Staff - Lili, Adina, Mark, Don, Alex, Yapet, and Mohamed plus others were fantastic. Apologies to names we missed. Great 2 weeks. The only downer for me was the standard of alcohol with the beer (Alfa) and the cocktails. The beach is very stoney. No sand.
